Clerics!!!

Hahaha dont you think Clerics kick *** because we can fight whenever we want and not lose alot of money also we can leech on higher level characters and not heal them as much with the recovery spell so we conserve sp. Haha I love clerics their is so many ways i can do with my cleric. And yes healing is fun cus I wont have to do much or waste time losing money when i get free exp and loot haha. Always keep it sequential loot whenever you partner someone and thats how u become a successful cleric

Best way to be a cleric?

Either a full party with tank, two damagers and another cleric for epic combat.

Or:

Duoing with a mage. Beating enemies with your mage-buddy, levelling quick, Clanking and generally being the best combination of speed and durability.

none of the above, just do your own thing and do not play second fiddle to the other classes.

I like that second way, unfortunately, I need a Mage friend to duo with. None of the ones I know are in the 40's yet. xD

If it isn't duoing with my friend (Cleric), then I am out solo'ing... slowly.

best way to play a cleric..? be in a party and have lots of fighting slaves around to do the fighting for you while you hang back and keep them alive.. works best for me.. minimum effort for maximum rewards... or maybe im just lazy >:P

i guess it depends on the style / build the cleric is using.. some just want to go out flailing and healing.. some just wants to have higher hp and hang back to heal (like me) and shrug of most blows while using stones on yourself(why else would you buy hp stones?) and heal on your tank until the tank is free to take the monster off you.

my idea about cleric is that.. if you survive.. the party survive.

ya, it really depends on your style. if im in a party i usually hang back and heal, depending on area. or i can solo up to Goblin Camp if im carefull. its a good way to get great xp and cash, but its a slow process. i usually grab a fighter to help me grind, i can still agro and keep the fighter healed, we both benefit.

A successful cleric is one that keeps their party alive, not one that gives the rest of the community another negative view of clerics (we have enough), regarding "we can leech".... You must not be over lv 20 yet... at that point, you'll start to see you have to be an active part in the party, or players die fast.

Being a cleric has its ups and downs....

you can solo (we all know that :))

you can duo (if you're the tank. wizmage that are lower lvl or at the same lvl as you)

you can trio (you have to be the same/highest lvl so you can handle the aggro)

you can duo (higher lvl DD fighters)

and you can use my favorite party set up (aka the AOE setup).

1 tank, 2 wiz, 1 archer, cleric (This is only applicable if your tanker can handle the mobs well, and you can handle your tank)

1 tank, 3 wiz, cleric (This is only applicable if your tanker can handle the mobs wel, and you can handle your tank)

1 tank, 2wiz, 2 cleric.

Solo is great and at my level, still pretty efficient. And yet, soon as some buddies come online, we party up and hit the higher level fields with no problems, sometimes as half-healer, half-DD, other times as just a healer, depending on the mobs around and how slowly the tank loses HP. So it's really either/or, so long as the rest of the party members are doing their jobs.

I usually fight and heal on my cleric - depending on the situation. If I find myself standing around not doing anything, then I'll go up and punch the mobs in between my heals.

I don't like standing there and just healing - it's very boring for me. Sure, it's easy, but I don't find it very funny. >:

I never solo either - I always party. Mainly because I get bored easily fighting by myself.

Im a mage my usual party includes,



a lv 14 archer

a lv 10 cleric

a lv 12 cleric

a lv 10 mage(me)

a lv 12 mage

A lv 13 archer

2 lv 15 warriors- clerics for healing,archers for speed, mages for hits, fighters for all around combat:cool:

the fact that clerics can revive,get buffs and also have the possibilty to be a dmg dealer or tank is a fantastic thing for clerics

Best way...

Don't leech. That's stupid.
Heal, but only when they really need it. (Ex; LVL 40 fighter loses 50 hp after fighting something. "HEAL PLZ!" LVL 40 cleric: Dude, it's just a scratch.)
Fight. I just personally like violence. I would fight in a party though... It's more fun that way.
Revive if you can.
And if you're cool enough, Tank! (Also if your party's full of ranged users)

Well i can mostly solo everything on my Highcleric it's aswome! O.o clerics are the best classes ever! accept when u have heal everyone and revive them *sighs* but it is the best class there is out of all of them :)
