View Full Version : Stat Forumulas and effects of stat points for Archers

Ok, i think it's about time i put up the info i have on stat points and their exact effects on stats, i'll even post the forumlas that can be used to predict stats for any build you may aim for with a 99% accuracy.

Forumlas:
Attack = (Pow/3*2) + (Agi/2) + .75
Dodge = (Agi/3) + (Men/8) + 4.74
Attack Speed = It just decreases every 15 points by .1 starting at 17 agi to 32 etc...
Skill Critical = Men/2) + (Agi/6) - .75
Normal Critical = ???(still unknown not enough information)
Hit Rate = (Men/3) +84.75
Skill Speed = (Men/8) + (Agi/24) Needs more testing but from what i have seen is correct. and slight increases can be seen at .5 marks
Weight Capacity = 970 + (Level*5) + (Pow*30)

Are the stats rounded? Say if it something ends up being 90.75... is it rounded to 91?

Yes, stats would be rounded. I do not know how sos handles these numbers since we only ever see integers, but i made these formulas using excel, automaticly rounding them til i got them as correct as possible.

HAH! I KNEW IT! Hit rate increases every 3 MEN, even though most archers tend to say it increases with every 8 MEN. From now on, I am going to cite this thread every time someone refuses to believe me on that subject!

Some people may be internally confusing Hit Rate with the rate (speed) at which skills can be used....in which case they also are technically correct even though they are referring to the wrong stat and the wrong increment.

It may be therein that people lie confused...calling a potato a turnip and making someone think they're talking about a turnip when they are indeed talking about a potato.

wow.. does dat work for all classes? so by right if u keep adding men u should be able to attack faster?

Wow, another of my archer threads found it's way into a necro state, but anyways what compy said is correct and it's for all classes, tho there are variances due to the amount of agi some classes have. And like always due to character and skill animations there is always a hidden cap that we just have to find out ourselves or through others.

Hmm im playing the templar class and i currently haf 12 points in Men.. but I hardly knew the reasoning behind having those except it helps to boost solo kills. I heard when aoeing it doesnt help.. so i decided to cap it at 12... :X

I dun really feel a difference but perhaps it helps cast faster maybe
