it says i need to log in but when i submit my name and pw it says some werid crud...

Looks like they try to apply the Outspark market to the beta. I think that's the reason why it takes so long. It seems that the Sparkcash just appeared overnight (it's deep at night here at home :p) and they are still working on it. If you really want to spend real cash into this game then wait until they finished their work at this. ;)
