How to become player of the month

I need help can other players be player of the month or do the GMs have to pick the player of the month?

Typically in the past the GMs have chosen the player of the month based on their actions either in game or in the forums. Lately though, we haven't had any PoTM's,monthly features have taken their place.

May was an interview with a family of Fiesta players on Teva. June was Fighter21, the first Gladiator.
