1mill sc race WARNING

everyone who is participating in this race I would like to say something. DO NOT WASTE TOO MUCH IRL MONEY DOING THIS RACE.
If you go to the page where the detailed rules are, you will notice something. After 4 weeks, every single hour you are not capped SC will be deducted from the 1mill supply. So you sleep for 8 hours that is 8 deductions from the supply XD. MOST IMPORTANTLY the amount deducted is not stated. Therefore this can potentially be a huge scam. so im only saying watch how much you spend becus the 1mill you saw earlier could easily become 1k with this undefined deduction every hour. XDDD i would hate to think someone wasted hundreds of dollars only to obtain 5 dollars of sc rofl xD

But if they didn't bother to read through the first post about the competition, which was on the main news page and linked for a long while in the client launcher, and that listed everything and more that you put in your post, which was left displayed both prior to the start of the race and for several days after.

What makes you think they're going to actually put in the effort to read a thread in the middle of a new forum section's server discussion, with an oddly abbreviated and non-descript title and oddly placed words in red?

Oh and also :o, what makes you believe that people who are actually participating in this race even have the time to look at the forums, let alone read your specific thread about a race that if they cared enough to enter I'm sure they read into at least minutely, and if they were interested in, in the first place, they would have clicked that link because that's where the majority of people heard about it first and foremost?
Not to mention your warning comes over a week after the race has begun, a little delayed for those who've already joined, isn't it?

I am pretty sure ALL those who are "IN THE RACE" already knows about this. And so far there is only like 10 players racing. Everyone else just drop out, including myself.

So what do we do ? Send a ticket to outspark about how much it deducts everyday ?
If it deducts with high amounts then I guess this is all just one big scam.
Why don't we have that information ?
Are they going to decide how much it will deduct depending on how far people have leveled ?
If someone is close to capping it will deduct by half every day ?
Or by one mil sc to end it just when the 28* days end ?
Why isn't the lead board up ? is there a reason to not let people know who is first in server and how the others are doing ? As they may be a lvl 9x in the server already and we don't know it.

Still a lot of unclear things about this competition that leaves a lot of players think that this might just be a scam, and as a participant of the race I'm also starting to think that I'm wasting my money.

I'll be sending a ticket to a csr and try to clear the fog about this.

Its one of the rules of the competition that hasn't been completed yet.
They should and have to tell us the amount of sc that deducts, they don't have one reason to not tell us participants that are putting a lot of effort and money into this.

Normally i dont like the post maker xD.... but..... it is true, if u spend like 100-500 dollars per week its kinda much money and if u take long to cap (hard way to do) u wont get much SC................

Someone on Bijou capped in a little over a week, so it doesn't require more than 4 weeks, I think people just realised that capping is awful and its just incredibly boring...

i just felt it was appropriate to post the rules on the server where the race is being held. and i myself didnt read these rules until recently. And i know some ppl who did not know the rules until now. Simply giving some tips xD take it or leave xDD. but yea i just dont like witnessing ppl gettin scammed

Most people in the other servers aren't putting 100-500 in SC just to cap. Also they are playing more casually. There is no reason for them to cap right away and be stuck there until who knows when the next cap is. However this is a race. People are putting there hearts and souls into this to cap in 1 month. The circumstances are very different.

No, you posted your reasonings as to why you opened the thread, you didn't directly answer any of my questions, most of them were worded in a "Why do you think/What makes you think" phrasing, requesting what it is that makes you feel people would actually take the time to read this if they didn't even bother to read the original and professional post.
Your reasons to open it aren't the same as the reasons you believe people would actually read it.
Two separate topics entirely, and you didn't answer the one I simply asked.


Furthermore, as I do play on this server this topic does pertain to me. Especially since you feel it necessary to inform people about this topic, I may feel it necessary to inform you that the likelyhood that people would read this random topic over the official rules (which in my opinion really aren't that long to read) is not very high. Again, just like you I'm only trying to help.


You also posted a topic on a forum that has no other purpose other than to be read (as many topics are indeed posted for). Since it is on a forum, how can you not imagine that it wouldn't be discussed? That's what is at the very core of most threads, discussion. You post your opinion and people respond to it. And since I don't see any request from you on the OP to limit discussion, to indicate an ulterior purpose (like recruiting or advice), or for people to not respond altogether, it's rather silly to think people won't post their opinions of your thread on here to be discussed.

The undefined amount to be deducted has been widely discussed to begin with anyways, not to mention that the GIANT COUNTDOWN kind of hints that there might be a purpose for the 1 month deadline, since it makes it rather obvious that something is going to happen when it runs out.



And another warning to you; try to avoid using words like "ignorant" to describe the people posting on your thread. It could be taken as an insult or flaming which could get you into some trouble with the forum moderators we know as our lovely CL's. Just a friendly warning, though. ^^
