So,i have got the sword of novice,and every time i click on the weapon manager it says that i haven't got my sword even if its in my inventory...Could anyone help me,and tell what i should do now? I really want to get to lvl 5.

Odd - I didn't have this problem. Can you remove the quest and try again?

i also had this problem so i deleted the quest and took it once more and than it was ok

so did i make sure you thorw away the soward when you delete the quest too
