I believe if you are the apprentice, you get rewards for every x0 level until 40. At these levels you get a bound item (cannot be sold or traded and destroyed on drop) with a higher crit % than the noormal weapon for that level bracket. The weapon is one that you can use right away (level 10 gives a level 10 mace). You can also get rings and SC items (rants, exp boosts) from this system. Everything you get is bound to you. At level 40 I also got a bound mini honeying pet.

As for being the master. You "should" help train your little apprentices. For being master, you get a small amount of money every time they sell something to an NPC. I don't think there is any other benefit.

(Most people don't actually talk to their master (or apprentice [mine wasn't even logged in 99% of the time]) and they only use this system for the rewards.

pretty much and Os nerfed our version of this system.

Supposed to go up to lvl 60 and have Waaaaaay better stuff.
