I know there are perceived shortcomings to announcing known problems with a product (In other words, I understand why companies don't like to loudly announce they are currently functioning incorrectly).

..But it would save alot of forum threads to make a front page announcement, or at least a sticky thread acknowledging that there is a problem, and everyone can stop posting new threads.

Just to be clear (since people seem to be making new threads instead of reading other ones) OS is aware of the issues and it is being dealth with:

Patches fixed things but other things came up, too.
Patches aren't always perfect but as players and GMs, I hope we are able to help each other in a friendly and respectable manner to get this game awesome as we can.
---------------------
Thank you for the feedback. We are aware of all the issues listed. Please be patient as we are working on a solution to fix these problems.

Sorry for any trouble this may have caused.

Sking threw up a topic you need to read incase you can't login at all:

Read this: DNS Caching Issue (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207872)

Lastly, if the game is slow, and you can't get stones/pots/spells/movers working, that is a speed issue, and they are working on it. When you change hardware, there are tweaks and adjustments that need to be made. Some of the slowdown may actually solve itself (internet routing adjusts to new traffic) and any of the slowdown that is software related will be solved by OS.

Remember, we have had server moves before, and there were slowdowns. They will be fixed, just hold yer horses.

Thank you. Somebody had to finally say it. I was going to get around to it but I've been too busy going around and posting just such responses to the multitudes of duplicate threads that you speak of.

This too shall pass. But I totally agree, a big bold announcement sharing some information would help eliminate alot of the multiple posts.
