Hey all, I don't wanna seem like a baby and complain and I know a lot of other people have said stuff about this, but I really think people should be punished, or something has to be done about people that spawn kill in Abysses and stuff. I work too hard to get all ym exp to get killed by some cookied jerk that buys a damage suit or something and +9's all their weapons and jus sits there and kills me/people constantly.

I actually quit Fiesta, this being one of the main reasons, and came back several days ago to try and level my archer/cleric. As soon as I get in Abyss, because for some reason, Outspark doesn't give enough quests to level even at low levels... I get killed about 5 times in a row by some stupid cookied, damage suit wearing, +9, blue suit girl that goes and kills litterally every person in abyss she doesn't know. Finally, when she leaves, I try to run and there's some guy with the same things that kills me.

I'm sorry but Outspark has gotten out of control with all these people and letting them just get away with it. Then when I ask them to stop, they swear at me or just say shut up and keep doing it.

Please don't just say "Don't go to Abyss" because I know there's NO good training places besides there unless I wanna become some nerd like most of those people that take the time to get crap and kill everyone else with no life spending my time trying to get up one level. I just want to play and maybe level a bit and have fun... not deal with idiots that think they rule the game.

I guess I'm just gonna quit the game... I'm not gonna spend all my time trying to level up with idiots running around thinking they're so cool.

A heads up OS, why don't you pay attention to people's complaints and do something for once abuot these people and actually make the game better? I'll come back in maybe a few months to see if you changed anything... Good luck anyone else playing though! :D

Its cuz the "person" that usually PKs people pay money for their sc items and outspark doesnt want to lose a source of income if they get rid of sc stuff from abyss

Exp loss is a consequence of dying. Its supposed to teach you to get tougher before you come back >>;;

They only get a chance to kill you constantly if you chose to stay and keep running into him rather than leaving (You know, common sense, etc. >.>;; )

So wait- you stayed there knowing she was gonna kill you if you kept going back (You know, if you didn't learn the first time, the second time should've given you a heads up)?

So in the end its your own fault you were dying?
And because you chose not to leave you lost experience?

It looks like things are pointing at YOU here, its YOUR fault for your exp loss because your too stubborn to find another place to grind ._.

They aren't gonna remove PvP abyss. If they remove PvP, they will have to take out the abyss all together _-_

I didn't mean, "punish people for buying sc" I meant, punish people for abusing their usage with the items. And I didn't wanna waste time not having fun by grinding somewhere else, and whatever, you'll probably change that too...

And okay I see your point with that one, and I'll take a screenie next time xD

And what I meant was, I'm not gonna like stay inside all day and devote all my spare time to grinding somewhere when I know there's better exp in Abyss and I could actually spend a little bit of time playing Fiesta and the rest out having a life.

I don't want/expect them to remove it from Abyss, but at least possibly do somethin to people that spawn kill in abysses such as 2x like I said up there, where you can't run around them. Maybe a possible option would be to lower the level cap for them... but then I know some people would get mad for not being able to get plvled by their friends.

It's less an issue of running "around" them, so much as making the best of a meat shield and your Idle State.

If a player is a spawn PKer, chances are, s/he's not gonna chase someone down into the depths of the Abyss to kill someone. Also, the Spawn PKers, or SPKers as I now dub them because I'm lazy, tend to focus on killing as many players as they can. Here's where the "meat shield" comes into play:
When you die, keep an eye on the SPKer, when s/he attacks someone else, quickly click "Move", spawn, and run like heck past the SPKer into the "safety" of the bowels of the Abyss. With any luck and a fair lack of lag, you'll make it.


Oh, and I suppose you're a pker yourself so you don't care about people spamming the forums, and feel the need to make fun of them or make them feel stupid? While I'm not a PKer (I lean more towards PKKing, if anything), I'm a forum reader. There's only so much one can read about the same thing without becoming cynical about it. I care about forum spamming because I use the forums as a means of communicating with other players and, with any luck, saying something that will help new players as they play.

It's easy enough to make kungfuhobo, or anyone who posts an opinion not supporting a change in the PvP setup of the Abyss, a straw man and say, "You don't like these threads because you're one of THEM!" That justification isn't valid, because a PKer and a SPKer are not the same. I can't imagine anyone who likes SKPers or being SPKed. Many players, on the other hand, view PvP (and consequently PKing on one side) as a challenge since an AI doesn't work the way the human brain does. Heck, the mage NPCs hit you with a melee attack.

Addressing a possible solution to the SPKing: each server (except maybe Cypion? I haven't looked) has a PKK thread. If you find a SPKer in the Abyss, leave, check the list of PKKers and ask one or more of them to help you.

Which level you are talking about the do not have enough exp for level? I think the quest is quite enough to cover till like 60 already.

<- hardly set foot in abyss till like mid of 7x.

if u want to get good exp besides abyss go to a map 20 lvls above urs with a good party,and kill monsters u will get good exp and evade the pvp,i rather go to abyss tho i do like the exp there and if someone kills me well its like 5 seconds on idle state i use it to run to the exit,but abyss is fun and exciting :3

i remember one of the cl(dont remember which) said that abyss is not a grinding zone. the monsters are there to make pvp situations harder. if someones spam killing get out of there. its that simple. and if those cookies wernt around we would be paying like $10-$15 a month to play. the sc items keep this game free. those cookied ppl that kill you basicly keep the game running for free.

I hate player killers and I don't know how to PVP well, so I always get killed.

So instead of getting mad everytime a stupid-player-killer-with-real-life-issues kills me, I just did the following... never go to abyss. I might need it later but I'm 62 at the moment and I do fine without going to abyss.

Seriously, it's the best option if you get upset or angry about player killers.

I've said it as well, when I was a player I had a rather extensive talk with a few of the CSRs regarding that map. Its not meant to be a grinding map.

I've also found that I have enough quests (and KQs) to level through to at least 55 with no problems. It really just depends on how you grind, for most players solo grinding is going to be tedious and slow. I recommend finding a good pt, heading to an area where the mobs are orange, and grinding there.

Going to Abbyss isn't really necessary till lvl 70...
You got enough quest to do to reach lvl 70 without put a single step in abbyss. Maybe sometimes work on a licence for grinding but you really don't need to be in abbyss before 70 (except if you go there for money).

About the PKers ? What's fun is that the largest amount of Pkers i've seen (talking about Teva server) are in lvl 20 abbyss and lvl 50 abbyss.
Omg ! there is almost none pkers in lvl 60 abbyss and above ! :O Which is great since abbyss are useful for grinding (i say for ginding not for money making) only from lvl 70...

In my experience in fiesta playing i may have seen 1 pker in lvl 60 abbyss one day... :/ Compare to all those people kililng newbies in abbyss 20 and 50 that's not a huge matter...
The fact is that after lvl 66 people can't enter in lvl 50 abbyss anymore and somehow they stop pking... why ? coz in abbyss 60 most people go there with a full party so it's kinda hard for someone even 76 and full +9 sc items ect to handle a whole team.
Lvl 70 abbyss ? Everyone know that abbyss 70 kinda sucks for exp and that TR is better so once again pking is really rare.

Lvl 80-90 abbyss ? At this point i will only speculate since my highest chara is only 80 : People knows that getting exp start to get really hard...for lvl 80 abbyss i don't think a lot of people go there since you got repeat frm 80 to 85 and then DT dungeon.
So instead of loosing time, exp and money to kill people in those abbyss, they prefer simply grind.

So to put an end to this long post : Never go to abbyss alone if you're worried about pking, and don't go to abbyss before 60 coz that's not really needed.

Sorry for the long post but it's been a while i wanted to state that pking only appears in lvl 20-50 abbyss....not in higher place coz people got something better to do then loosing time... Proove me wrong but seriously pking in abbyss 60+ is something i barely never see D:

The simplest answer would be to not go into the Abyss until you are a higher level. From what I have seen, there are enough quests and grinding areas to get you to at least 50, maybe 60.

As for a solution, why not suggest to OS to have designated pvp areas or have it set up like duels? Then you have the option of either not accepting or not going to those areas.

80 abyss providers the same (if not lower) exp than the 70 abyss with mobs that have higher hp and hit harder, so no one actually even goes there. people grind on mobs outside of the abyss, or just do their repeats.

DT is also not used for grinding and the quests now are not worth it either.

70 abyss is the most popular because of the lack of repeats in 72-76, and there are some player killers there.

Anyways, i must rewrite what i said...

Apparently since cap raise pk in abbyss 70-80 has become more common T.T
So forget about everything i wrote except 2 things :
-You don't need to go abbyss FOR GRINDING before lvl 70 really !
-If you see some pkers in abbyss...don't go alone get a full party...and in some case kill the pker with your party so you'll have the free way to a room :D

20 and 50 are the worst...I capped out 50 in Teva and killed every PKer for a really long time o-o when I left I was spammed with whispers "This guy is cookied and he's killing everyone" "We're getting teamed really bad can you help?" It's like once I left the PKers took over again. =.= I felt bad and all but what can you do? I wasn't going to STAY 66.

A lot of people have made threads to try and get the old level limits back, I made one with a poll with the point, "Lvl 36 vs level 20 is NOT PvP." & it's not, you just die and that's it. I really don't see why the old limits can't be brought back. If it's a PvP area, at least put it back so that the lowest levels have something of a chance.

Level 20 vs Level 36 w/ +9 purples, +9 30 weapon, charms, extenders, scrolls, and a high tier buff. Yea, what can you do?
