Combining Elements?

Can we use elements from all of our equips?

EXAMPLE:My staff has 12 wind on it, and my shirt has 2 fire on it, will I get the boost from both?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure but I think your shirt would add 2 fire into fire defense not element attack since its clothing not a weapon

Yeah, it's true what mindlessbox said, your staff will increase your elemental, but your shirt will increase your protection.
