what does it really do, and should i empower it , and why,

People say you should think about empowering cooldown on magic burst and possibly other future AoE attacks mages get, but I disagree. Even with full cooldown on mock, a mage spamming an unempowered 5 sec magic burst, or any other AoE spell for that matter, will easily gain agro by the time that mock refreshes for the 2nd and even 3rd-4th use. This typically concludes with you lying there with your face on the ground asking for a rev.

Don't empower AoE. It is powerful enough as is. Put those points toward something useful like cooldown or damage on essential DD attacks.

lol ... mmm... im full int mage in bijou and i started tanking ogre and harkan in duo with cleric at 36... the cleric wasnt tanking... i was... i think unless they aoe... mage r better in duo with cleric... cause they always stole aggro if they with a tank anyway... better have cleric focus on u than focus on fighter then get killed
ill empower aore lvl 60 when they remove cap... but not first aoe... but magic blast lvl 49 spell ill empower full cooldown n dmg... i dont use empower point till 49 btw

the skill attacks multiple enemies around you in one swift move, normallly resulting in your character dead from the attacks off the monster, from the aggro caused by the skill itself.. dont empower it...
