Well, I just glanced at the News and Announcements forums and they said something about a server restart. Would someone explain to me what a server restart it? >_>

no better yet tell me if this is the maintenance one or the server reboot. I'm confused on the time zone thing. To make it easy for people they should post the servers time on the site so we can convert it easier.
But which is it? and why hasn't it come back online yet? Been 20 minutes to my count

Does this mean all our characters are deleted and we start from scratch again?

This means they are turning off the server and turning it back on. That is all. No deletions, and should be quick.

Exactly, it's just a server restart. They're just restarting the computer that the server is loaded onto. Nothing to worry about, characters won't be erased. None of your stuff should end up missing.
Computers do need to be turned off sometime :p

Ok, its just like any other game they do it for, was curious, since this is a Beta, if they were reseting everything or something as this is my 1st time playing a Beta.

seeming as its for ALL outspark games, definatly no wipes for now [prolonged wipe woooo lol].
Don't worry, its just shutting them down, restarting now like it says.
