ok so, if i added most of my points to agility would i dodge alot?
it is just a thought i had. I get hurt so much that def seems pointless. I have been going hp and my hp is about 900. I only have 12 points in stam though, its just with all these items its easy to get extra hp.
course besides hp im int.
I dont want to waste money on 2 rebirth scrolls. So does anyone know if were to add lets say half of what i have in int to agi if i would dodge alot? (id still heal for about 300 hp i beleieve)
it would be kinda wicked XD

AGI is, of course, the key stat to boosting Dodge. Whether you'd get crazy Dodge with only a few dozen points or mediocre Dodge with every point you could spare is hard to determine without testing it yourself. That's why those Rebirth cards are there.
Something that's come to my attention is that every class has not only a primary and secondary stat they will probably want to put points into, but a tertiary stat as well (e.g. AGI for Archers/Rangers and Warriors/Warlords, POW for Assassins/Shadow Masters, MEN for Templars/Holy Avengers); try it out and see if AGI is a worthwhile tertiary stat for Priest/Paladin Class. I could see a really high level Paladin having decent INT and STA scores, and a few dozen points in AGI to irritate their opponent with a random (and probably not very well appreciated) "Miss".
So all I can say is, try it out and see if it works - that is, after all, the whole point. :)

dj, meika has some agiin her bould, "meika-chan" u should talk to her, and yeah it helps dodge but if you cut your int at a half O_O ur heal will b too weak... ifyou wanna get some agi i would try not to make weak my heal, get like 8 or 9 and then put SOME agi, dont get crazy with crazy amounts of agi, dont forget u are a HEALER and healers are supposed to heal, if ur heal is low, u'll b useless o.o; and if u want it for pvp, go make a rogue~sin like most of healers did LOL
w.e talk to meika, she has a bit dodge which is nice and idk what amount of agi she has

meika dont like meh. I made her mad one day, dont even know how and now she calls me profanitys O_O
lol.
i didnt miss much when i fought her though.
i have too much int... well i mean i can heal most people in one heal unless its a warrior with higher hp then 2 heals u kno? So i think from now on i should add to other stuff, j/w what it is.

I would talk to Kit Y or any variation of Kit, (she likes to run around with letters after her name). Her and I did a good amount of research into the agi/dodge department. She has all the findings written down.
Meika-chan has been my healer now for a couple of weeks and I can vouch for her dodge. Those times when a monster aggros her they seem to miss the intital attack around to 35-40% of the time, though after that they do hit her quite regularly. This gives her time to spirit the monster and run off.

Hi guys,
I had same moment like dj78. Wonding healer should put AGI for some dodging, MEN for magic speed?, more STA to stay alive (with the usless >< def) or more INT to heal more? Like Alma said, u may need half of ur INT to AGI for that little dodoge, and may not even workout. Even for Rouge/Sin dodge "miss" is by chances not until a very high lvl or dodge stat. but if u really want to increase some agi, here tips u could consider ^^:
1)wear AGI pearls+3 or above ,2)mount pet with AGI +3, 3)skills pet, 4)shield ap3 xen to +5, 5)agi wings+
here should give u well enough of agi but *_* these items may = huge of $$ & time for invest!!!
Healer is for heal and cant kill much especially in PVP except healer VS healer. but agian Heal less = usless +.+ . As a priest, heal must be at least 500+ (best 600+) at least (as most tanker is over 1000+hp), and some on Men to have a faster speed on heal/buff. HP must be at least 800 (best 1000+) to survive from aoeing XD.

A good friend of mine has a good deal of ment, and honestly... It doensn't help.
And the only reason why I have so much dodge is because I'm a wierd little priest with too much time on her hands.
I command you to find any priest that's under 115 with a 600+ heal and more than 800 hp other than me.
I command you.

Meika:
Compassion heals for almost 700 and has 814 HP after her last stat reset. She's level 112.
Remember: Cooling Heal 2 comes at 111. The increase in healing power between levels of Cooling Heal (as there are only 3) is actually quite substantial.

Ooohhh. Right. I totally forgot about cooling level 2. ~.~
Fine. Find me one under 110. Dx
How much is the difference btw Comp? O_o
I was actually considering to get that book. If there's a good difference in healing amount, and it's not lame how minor heal is. There's what, like a 40 heal difference between levels of minor heals? >>;
[edit] And priests are actually very powerful in pvp. >___>;
I've been people get pwned by healers 20 levels underneath them in fair duels.

Kay.
Now take off your hp wings, your int pearls, your mount, and your hp buff.

The difference is pretty substantial. With 102 Int, the heal jumped by about 80ish HP for three or four extra MP (Level 1 costs 23, level 2 costs 26 or 27, I don't remember). With almost 700 MP (with the green bell, of course), I can probably afford to hock some of the Wis I have in favor of either STA or Int. I do recall though, that before the stat reset (which favored slightly lower Int and a bit more STA), the heal jumped from about 655 to about 744 (this being with Fist and Fury up, of course) when I went from Cooling 1 to Cooling 2. So the jump is substantial, and the book is cake to find; I therefore recommend looking into it.
As far as Priests under 110 healing for 600+ and having over 800HP, it seriously is not possible without some combination of HP teddy (or other Int-boosting mount), HP wings, STA or Int pearls, HP buffs, or magical attack souls. There is no Cooling 2, nor enough distributable stat points at that level for it to be possible.
As an aside, I like all of the customization options that have come as a result of the alchemist system and mounts. If a character is a bit lackluster in one attribute because of too much in another (*coughcoughmySinwithmoreattackthandefensecough*), there are now ways to make up for it. I wouldn't fear a Priest in PvP with HP wings, a max weight Teddy, three Int pearls, a 6/6 cane, and max HP pet any more than I would a Temp with 30 MEN, a red bell, attack wings, 6/6 armor from head to toe, a max weight Pony or Felix, a Dodge pet, and three incubators. Your stats are just as important as your equipment, and vice-versa.
And as a shorter, slightly more off-topic aside: I know it's impossible to buy/sell/trade incubators, but can you store them in the hotel? o_O

Exactally what I wanted to get understood.
And uh. Dodge. haha xD Just remembered.
I did some testing in pvp earlier, and honestly...
My dodge... kinda fails. It works nicely in map though, as cloudy said earlier, it's quite useful. But map and pvp are compeltely different things..

aw healer class really is hard to hang in pvp in the higher lvs when ppl learn how to chain their stuns, but i dont think agi would help at all for yall in pvp. the hardest longest duels will get from a healer come from ones with alota hp and have fast action stun/self healing speed lol men and stam seem to b best bet imo

um i did read what compassion wrote. what you wrote just sounded like i was using items to make myself stronger and i cant compare how strong i am when i have those items.
But ya like compassion said items are what make it.
But maybe i just mistook ur comment.
And ya from this thread im guessing that dodge isnt that great on a healer. seems like my int/stam is the best way to go for both pvp and normal play.
altho maybe ill add a bit of men sometime.

meika, men does help O.O! i think im the only healer with 21 men, heal 980+ (1000+ with candy @_@) and some sta o.o! (im powless! =p) and i found REALLY useful, even at 11 points u feel ur cast speed a bit faster, at 21 u feel it a lot faster! and its awesome when it comes about crazy aoe cuz u rebuff and heal in record time!!
anyway i dont recomend having 21 men if you dont have reset stats bcuz i sacrificed all my pow and some sta so my int wasnt low, now i need to reset stats everytime i unequip my weapon >_>;
Dj if u wanna add men, go for 11, at that number ur cast speed increases. I tested it all with men eggs from easter bunny lol and i loved it!! plus i think men gives a bit dodge too o.o! mine is 8+2 xD even tho im not really interested in dodging o.o;

Oh, really? O.o
I have about 5 ment, and it never really helped me...
Although before I reset, at about 70 I had a stat reset, I had maybe 10 ment before that, and I did cast a little faster, but personally I thought that the stats needed to make even that tiny difference wasn't worth it.
dj78x
07-06-2009, 11:13 AM
mk ty. I think thats gona be my third stat :). Ill get men to 11 mhm.
Alma_Adhara2
07-06-2009, 12:02 PM
lmao meika, no wonder XD! cast speed increases at 11, and after that at 21. it wold be the same speed at 1,5, or 10. same with at 11,15 or 18. it JUST CHANGES at 11 and 21 as long as i know
bloodly-chan
07-06-2009, 12:50 PM
I see.
But that's like 100 hp I have to give up for maybe a .2 second faster casting speed. :x
I'd rather keep the hp. xD
dj78x
07-06-2009, 03:45 PM
or u culd get read of some of ur int.
i mean... with me healing high 600's i dunt really need too heal much more then that usually.

misa cna u read my post on mentality again, ppl telling me its 8 not 11
Alma_Adhara2
07-09-2009, 11:52 AM
read xD! and replied! lol
now yeah , depend in what u spend ur time with ur healer, if u party or pvp a lot, or normal grind then yeah Hp is the way to go. I use to crazy (as in CRAZY) aoe a lot so men helps me a lot ^^ 0.2 secs is way a lot when it comes about rebuffing a tank that takes 70s lol

I think some stats works differently for different classes. Most people say that men works in either 4's or 8's for the scout, rogue and disciple classes. It could be that adding a point to men has less effect on a priest than it does on other classes and so it takes more points for it to become obvious. I know adding a point to wisdom has more of an effect on the mp pool of an app or aco class than a neo or fighter class, likewise a point in power benefits the carry capacity of fighters, disciples and scouts more than apps and acos, but has an even lower effect on rogues. So adding 8 points to men on a scout or rogue might produce an instant improvement in cast speed but it might take more to get a similar effect on a healer.
