"From June 24th to July 2nd, various Fortune weapon skins will be available on specific dates at a discounted price! You can save 20% off the original price for THAT DAY ONLY, but you need to be quick! These items will be limited to just 100 a day and they will be posted at 6:00AM PDT each day."

HOWEVER, today's weapon skin (i.e., the axe skin isn't discounted).

The discount is only for one day. If you missed it the price will be regular.

When it was a discount the normal price appears crossed over and the new price right next to it.

They're only even in the catch of the day for one day only. There's no other way to buy them than james' forge. So we're not talking about missing the discount day.

Because it says there's supposed to be a 20% discount on the news page? If it were only supposed to be some of them it would say "and keep an eye out because SOME skins will even be discounted 20%!"

Unless you're uber lucky, isn't getting to choose your skin on your own a LOT less than playing James' Forge until you finally get the one you need?

or maybe it's just an all-around bug that hasn't been reported. No one made threads about the x-bow price, and if not for the axe thread, would you have noticed, Kath? :P So maybe OS just hasn't had it brought to their attentions.

Submit a ticket? wait for OS to reply? I dunno, tbh :\ but usually they're good about fixing it when it's noticed/found out.

But I could've sworn it showed the discounted price for xbow... just when this fiasco came up I checked my purchase history and it shows the undiscounted price there. I'm not sure if it just doesn't show it in purchase history, or what, but Straega and Silky both missed me asking that question in multiple places on 2 threads. I'll submit a ticket if I have to but really, answers to tickets are always more hassle than they're worth. The responses I get usually just make me think "wow, someone can't tell their elbow from their knee here." So I'm not in the mood for going through that drama if I don't have to. At least the forum gives intelligent answers, when it comes to cs stuff that gets replies quickly.

I asked Pico about it on Twit, so maybe he'll respond there, and I can get the answer back to you. But unfortunately, I have the feeling that the answer is gonna be 'Tell them to submit a ticket'.

Don't worry about the hassle though, anything to do with cash shop they are great at fixing asap. Don't upset a wallet, at least they know that much xD

submitting a ticket is supposed to be the way to get more than SC items fixed. Such as harassment, leeching, &c. However, things that receive the fastest response are usually those that involve $$
