New to Site, Game, and MMorphing

*looks at title of my thread* Did I spell that right? MMorphing? Anyways. Just thought I'd enter my hello. As I've stated, I'm new, 5 days new, and really enjoying the game. If you see me around feel free to say hi. If I don't respond, please be patient, I'm not the best multitasker, and it's hard for me to type to people while attacking monsters.

My name is Tenshi, it's Japanese it means Angel (no I'm not Japaneses.) I am female, I answer to either name or the names of my characters. Currently I only play two characters a Fighter, and a Cleric. My fighter is my main character, her name is Jaqz (pronounced Jacks) As of today she's reached lvl 17... Not too bad considering I do it all on my own for the most part. (mostly due to a bad connection that makes me lag out at times. [especially when passing through gates.])

My Clerics name is Saphyre, she's only 6th lvl. I'm still not sure how to play her, not sure how to level her at all. Any advice that you can give me on the best way to put the points for each class, fighter, mage, archer, and Cleric.. I would gladly accept and take into consideration.

Hello Tenshi! Welcome to the game and forums! I hope you find everything okay.

I'd tell you how to level your cleric but I can't. I play a mage =/ BUT! I can give a little advice. There is an event called Kingdom Quest, that you can do every 2 hours, which gives you TONS of experience. by the thousands, if you complete them.

Until my cleric hit lvl 25 I did every KQ i could get into. As far as "playing" a cleric, its simple and complicated.
Until you get it down pat, click on your main tank and click follow, that way you do not fall behind hitting spells. Heal Heal Heal Heal, you click on their head on the side of your screen and smack the heal button. Mine is 3, so people know if im not talking im heal bombing someone lol.

Welcome to the game! Clerics CAN solo, although difficult, and I'm not a pro at the game yet but its pritty simple. Although... I'm to lazy to explain here how to play one (Oh and keep in mind that Clerics are NOT limited to playing the healer int he party v.v I hate that sterotype) lol

Don't put any of your cleric stats in INT, it dosn't effect a cleric in any way.

The safe place for stat points is END on both fighter & cleric, until you understand your char well & have gone through your class forums :)

@Soul.of.Trance = Thanks, I already figured that out. Problem is, I can rarely get into one due to my poor connection. *It's frustrating* and usually takes up to a min before I can get my character moving. So I fear that's not exactly the best option for me at this time. Eventually I'll fix my computer, and I'll be able to do them, but alas, I know not when. But thank you.

@scarletlady = Tank in what exactly??? *chuckles* And Unfortunately I'm not in that one. So far I've been able to get my Healer up to lvl 12 though, I'm doing all the quests, and pretty much been ignoring people (but healing them) as I wander, just so I don't get killed and can focus.

@Duskfire = Thanks I'm horrible at remembering how to say it, or read it. Probably doesn't help that I am dislexic and all the extra letters really mess with me. You mentioned that clerics aren't stuck just healing. can they learn other things, like shooting bows and what not.. or is that limited to class?? Personally I just want my cleric character to be good at hitting, hard to hit, and able to heal herself should she need to. I'm told Str+End+Spirit are what I'll have to work on to do that, but I still don't have an idea about the precentage of which I should work on???

@cyrogen = Thanks for that knowledge, can you tell me which class it is that uses the Int??

@Dendraya= Yes it is. Much better than alot of the other games I've played. I'm envious of all of you guys who can make silver so easily.


So what's up with me and my characters. As you can tell I don't exactly focus on the forums. Usually because I'm too busy playing the game lol. I don't have much of a life so I do that a bit between things.

So I finally got my fighter, Jaqz up to level 20!! ^_^ Though I'm having issues with obtaining gold to buy the things I need. Is it me or is it just harder to find things when you kill when you are at a later level??

Plus, Can someone please tell me if it's just me or do other people have issues with the Echo Caves?? Everytime I go in, I'm fine.. but the moment I go to leave, I can't, the game disconnects and I can't get back onto that character... except for a few rare times. Is it to do with my computer, or is it something to do with the game??

What skills are the best to use to make gold??

OH and I know the elrudes can enhance your weapons and your shields.. can it enhance anything else.. AND!!! How do I enhance beyond a +3

Elrues can also upgrade your armor to +3. Sadly, Elrues can upgrade to +3 only. to continue, you'll need Lix. and Lix only goes up to +6, then you'll need Xir for the rest of it. ( Only to +9 since that's the max)

The Echo cave thing is a known bug, I suggest you just stay out of there completely to avoid trouble since it isn't really that important of an area.

For moneymaking I'd recommend potion production at the lower levels at least, I don't really know which one of scroll and stone making that's better for the higher levels. Just set up a shop where you buy the mats you need to make hp and sp pots for 1c more than they sell to vendors and when you've got enough pots you set up shop and sell them for 25-30c each and you'll make a nice profit. Sadly you'll find this can take quite a lot of time so if you can't leave your computer on and go do something else while having your shop up it might not be the most effective way.

Mages use INT as their primary stat since it increases magical damage (clerics don't have any offensive spells).

I don't think you mentioned what server you play on?

Welcome to the forums and I will put in a small word of advice for your cleric. I just made lvl 20 and HighCleric myself, but if you want to build yours w/ some power and the ability to stay alive I can give you my build. My cleric has pretty much soloed up until this point and I have found him the easiest of the characters to keep alive. I have at lvl 20...

as i go on i will be putting most of my points into spr for your information. U will really begin needing the SP as you get higher in lvl, but I can easily fight the monsters I need to for my quests, just don't try soloing anything in KQ's that would be a bad idea. If you do go the KQ route, get a party and keep ur members alive... that is all! As for my weapon and shield...
I'm using a lvl 15 +6 enhancement +19 att mace.
You use elrues for 1~3 Lix 4~6 and so on.
Shield is only done w/ elrues as i just purchased my lvl 20 shield

on another note, I have a character doing stone and scroll production, but in the beginning i found stone and potion production to be the ticket to quick money. I made an easy 11 1/2 silver selling power scrolls, elrues and hp/sp potions.

@Gurkburk= Just for you, Turquoise! Ah okay, so it's not my connection! *Wipes brow* though I was beginning to wonder after a while. It's nice to know I'm not alone. (Still doesn't have the best connection) Sadly though since one of my skills is the stone thing.. *Since I thought making elrues would provide a good income* I'll need to buy loads of copper ores in order to make lix's and xir's I'll need even more. So I can see how the cave could be beneficial.

And I'm on the Bijou Server. Thank you for asking and the belated welcome.

@JustcallmeGOD= Thank you for the welcome ^_^, and aren't I glad that my cleric's chosen skills are Potion and stones. Though mostly for my own benefit. I figured. I'll need the Sp potions, and can sell the stones. Though I came to find out the hard way that enhancing weapons isn't easy *entitling my cleric with the title unlucky enhancer* I broke 3 really good weapons trying to figure out how to enhance past the lix so I finally gave up and just settled for the +6.. licensed it and figured when I move onto the next level (Which will be 20) I'll buy a hammer if I have the gold, and enhance it myself. If all goes well I'll be able to buy two of them and try on both of them. It's a costly thing. But I have a hard time finding weapons that are enhanced for clerics. (not sure why that is?)

and your set up for your character is interesting. I don't have that much in either. I have +7 in st +8 in Spir and +4 in end. I also have nice rings and earings to help add to the endurance and strength. I have earings that add +40hp and the two rings I have add a total of +6str +4End +2int +2spr So those help... I've also enhanced all my armor, shoes, pants, hat, sheild, and the weapon so I tend to do good on my quests even going it alone on the KQ so long as I have a healthy load of SP potions (about 75) and a few(25) Hp potions. I don't tend to need them as much except if it's a really REALLY strong monster I'm up against.

My biggest problem with the KQ is everyone leaves before my computer can finish loading up the quest.. So I'm often left alone having to catch up. It can be rather annoying, add to that the lack of willingness for anyone to party with me because I lag.. Well I find it's not so fun by the end of it. But at least the monsters I kill by myself on the way make good xp.

Oh and I've completely decided that my cleric is my main character and that my fighter is now only going to be my scroll maker and mule. I just don't do as well with the fighter as I do the cleric.
