Are you residing from Japan, China, etc?
If so, those IPs are banned from US Fiesta

Actually, I'm out in Hawaii ... (but I know we're sometimes lumped in with the Oceanic places) so I don't really know ... It's something that dawned on me recently.

Cause, I can play fine with some other ones, but as of late, there are some where I can't connect at all ...

Well they recently implemented the ban on non-NA areas.

As far as my knowledge goes, you are not outside of that area, so you should be fine, try a clean reinstallation.
Meaning after uninstalling, delete every file with connections to Fiesta.

If that doesnt help, PM on forums and I'll do my best to help =]

Malaysia is one of the countries banned, I'm sorry.
As my theory goes, try a proxy to reroute your Ip to a NA IP, but you didn't hear this from me ;]
As I'm not positive you can be trying this.

I'm kind of surprised it worked this time around, because I had done that before, but I tried taking it off my firewall's allowed program lists ... then reinstalled it and put it back in and it works now o.o;;;

they banned all asain ips for the most part. sorry but it looks like youll have to find a new game to play or use a proxy

I have the same problem but I've tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it and it STILL won't work!!! Can anyone help me?

We are aware of the issue, and are currently working on a fix for this issue.

I have a work around that i used at home....

If the patch is not successful, keep trying until it work. It took me 5-8 times at home before it finally worked. The patch is timing out when contacting our server. This work around is a force install work around. It may or may not work. This work around is also not 100% gurantteed to work, but you may want to try it.

Not all of asia is IP blocked... Only countries with there own service...

The issue with the launcher can be resolved by manually downloading and installing the patch. Please save to your desktop, and install it from your desktop. Here is a link that will help.

I DL'd Fiesta today, got a user account, and tried to play. It comes up with a list of 3 servers + join and quit. Whatever I click does nothing. also while the background animation is going on it is very very slow, one frame at a time. I would like to play. But I must be doing something wrong.

Malaysia is not banned. Please read the announcement. Only China and Taiwan is banned. There is something going on with your ISP. I think your ISP is forcing a proxy on you. We do not allow Proxy to connect to our server...
