I started this game around the time of OBT. And I've had no problems with it. But ever since the update on Halloween, I can't get on! I've tried reinstalling, rebooting, manual patching, and nothing is working.

Before I reinstalled, the launcher was working fine, but now it comes up as an oblong box. Is this the old launcher?

Also, it says this at the bottom:
"Error connecting to update server: (10061, 'Connection refused')"
It says this in the log:

Unhandled exception in thread started by <function launcher_startup at 0x00B30130>
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "outspark.py", line 603, in launcher_startup
File "outspark.py", line 161, in update_app
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split'

I have no clue whats going on. And I'm in SC. Not china. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem. It's pretty aggravating, seeing as this is the first chance I've gotten to play in a few days, and now I can't get on. AARRGGHH!

Yep I got the same problem. I tried emailing support, and they say this is because I'm having internet connections problem. They said it might because I am connecting to the internet via a proxy. Anyone understand what that means?

Same error as you guys, and I'm not using a proxy. Worked fine last week.

I'm going to see if reinstalling does it. Will update with results.
UPDATE: While downloading, I attempted to login again using the current installation. I was able to login. Problem fixed itself.

A proxy is something you can use to mask your IP address. An example of a proxy is www.anonymouse.org
