it's like those online dating websites lol. or the 2 people can just be good friends that met in-game. hey after all it's just a game so it doesn't really matter why or how they "love" each other.

Anyways she's trying to find out if anyone is claiming to truly love their partner without ever actually meeting them in the real world first/ever. Basically a purely fiesta/internet based relationship.


It's a picky topic. ^^ Personally I think you might be able to develop feelings for someone based on their actions and the conversations you have with them, but that by definition it cannot stem past anything more than a friendship unless you meet in real life.
I think that kind of relationship needs a physical connection as well as an emotional and mental compatibility, so while the potential may be there, and you may both want the same thing, I still think you need to meet where you can see each other with your own eyes, not a web camera's lens, before you can really establish it as anything.

Otherwise all you can do through the internet is talk to each other and *awkward cough* imagine things, but nothing the two people will do would really classify your relationship as anything more than a friendship.
Just talking = things that everyday friends do.
Until you can do more than that, than do you really have something that's more than a friendship? Even if you want it?

I think people can have feelings of love for each other without meeting irl first. Because love is an emotion, and no matter how far away you are from a person, you can still love them. Even if you haven't even seen them imo. It's pretty much the same as feeling strongly for a friend you've met online, like a very close friendship, yet more than that. Sure, you can't kiss the one you love or even hug them, but the feeling is still there. I know this from experience, because I met my real life love on a gaming forum : ) we're also getting married too, in September hopefully.
