WELL i'm bored waiting for class to beging (nxt 40 mins) so I've decided to post something I've been meaning to post for a while now. I hope yall enjoy.

I want to say that I'm new to the whole MMORPG scence so I'm learning as I go along. I also would like to thank the GMs for giving me the oppourtunity(sp??) to participate in the CB. I'm going to be talking about common party courtsey.

1st off, I have to stress this: BE CONSIDERAT TO OUR ACOLYTES. They are the ones that have to heal our sorry behinds. They buy the most mp pots to keep the party alive. As such LEAVE SOME OF THE DROPS for them. They are usually on the sidelines and hardly have the oppourtunity to get at the drop items in time before one of their greedy party memebers rush to them. Most (ok...) a considerable amount of the kron (money in the game) should be left for them. I was partying a while ago and had to tell my party members (I was the Party Chief at the time) to leave some of the drops for the Acos (it was a female aco if i'm correct).

She thanked me for my consideration and and said how that's one of the reasons she doesn't like to party too much, b/c everybody hogs the drop items. So be considerate to our Acos ppl. Also try resting everynow and then so the Acos won't be killing their mp pots.

2nd goes to our party chiefs out there. You're there not only to send out invites all whilly nilly (taken from Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey show) but to keep the party in order and to make important decisions. One of my favs: (Guys! Run!) lol. and (these damn monsters play no games!) I usually stock up on items (mainly potions, antidotes, and posion immunity and try to give each party member at least 10-20) I remember I was doing the novice labyrinth with my party (so far I've tried and failed ALL times, lol. but it was fun) and before we started I asked who had poision immunity and antidotes.

Just about most of my crew didn't have any so I gave each of them (10-20) some. Its stuff like this we all gotta be considerate about ppl. And as such you might get a good rep as a party Chief and more ppl will want to party with you and your prty members will continue (hopefully) to party with you.

*Quck note on my 1st n 2nd points. I buy about 250 pots and 125 mp pots when partying so I can take some bulk off the Acos healing me. I usually tell them to don't focus too much on me and heal everybody else. As party chief you gotta think about the well being of your members don't you? OH! almost forgot as well if your party members are still hogging the drops, just set everything to random for the item drops.

I'll be back with a part new about knowing our roles...

Sneak peek:
Know your roles ppl. Party chiefs (if your a fighter or are a strong level, BE THE 1ST ONE to attack or to move.) Danger comes with the job description.

Party set up should be: Party Cheif, Fighters and Rogues leading the attack. Mages and Archers a little behind the Fighter and Rogues, and Acos at the back healing everyone. Acos should also have a Mage semi protecting them.... (5 mins till classes start) see yall on the flip side...

i wish more party leaders thought like this. my main is an aco and it is hard to get drops. i sometimes take role of party leader just to set the distribution to random so we all get items and i tell them if they want an item please say so.

I totally agree with you Drelovely. I'll help attack anything in a party but only pick up about 30% of the drops just to leave stuff behind for others in the party who can't get to it.

hmm why not try putting ur party option to share item mage fight long range and acos do heal but that doesnt mean they use a lot of pots. if u be a party chief try dividing items its in the option if u didnt know

Yeesh, everytime I hit a party(being the honcho or not) I ask about setting it to divide loot randomly for acolytes to accumilate some kron.

I give equips to the needing if I get a particular loot.(if they are low-level or ask me, as some already have those things levels ago. Lucky Balls may vary with my mood if I share or trade)

Carry around 300 hp pots and 500 mp pots for support for the team, if required.

Only the Fighter, Rogue and Predictor rushes into fray, never anyone else even if they are partyleaders(Aco, as a leader charging at Sau? Lulz! Nuhuh, no chance without super-armor equipped. )

Everyone concentrates on the same monster, as it is rarely wise to attack 3- or more monsters at once.

The rest stay on the sideline and bombards/heals/buffs the needed.

The archer in the group is the puller, the rest gang on the poor sucker.

I play by the motto "Back-to-Back".

to dustknight: i know about the divide items thingy. posted it towards the end. and to thrashknight: datz why i said if you're a fighter or rogue or of a high lvl, then as p.c. u should lead the attack. hope no Acos go and try to lead the attack tho. hope GMs sticky this....i think its useful...

I was only reacting to party chiefs' should lead the the attack in the end of first post.^_^' (Might be you only meant rogues and fighters, even if it was suspicious the way you typed it instead of only saying what classes are meant as frontliners and not. "Party Cheif, Fighters and Rogues leading the attack."

If you had added "if they are", before Fighters I wouldn't have noticed it at all and start wondering. Besides, only monster-acolytes can do what I typed earlier,)

Someone like a magician or archer are better for leading a unified attack against a monster, because they are both able to slow down the target from a distance.

This in turn draws some aggro from our fronters, the rogues and fighters while they beat down the monster, who in turn is trying to make its way to that annoying archer/magician.

Well, most players that DO play these type of games... Well, let's just say, kids aren't too bright.(or am i using stereotypes here?)

However, it seems to me that most memorpgers... Don't have a roudn the robin system. As in, you get an item after a certain amount of items, depending on how much party members there are. If yo uare the leader of a party, just started a party, you will get the first item. Then the one that came in 2nd will get the 2nd item drop etc. Like fiesta, whch is a very good way to distribute items. But quest items should still be the property of the player that is doing that quest.

Still, some people are way too thick headed to understand WHAT you actually need to freaking do

That's some good tactician-ing there TrashKnight.
I'll have to remember that.
