WELL i'm bored waiting for class to beging (nxt 40 mins) so I've decided to post something I've been meaning to post for a while now. I hope yall enjoy.
I want to say that I'm new to the whole MMORPG scence so I'm learning as I go along. I also would like to thank the GMs for giving me the oppourtunity(sp??) to participate in the CB. I'm going to be talking about common party courtsey.
1st off, I have to stress this: BE CONSIDERAT TO OUR ACOLYTES. They are the ones that have to heal our sorry behinds. They buy the most mp pots to keep the party alive. As such LEAVE SOME OF THE DROPS for them. They are usually on the sidelines and hardly have the oppourtunity to get at the drop items in time before one of their greedy party memebers rush to them. Most (ok...) a considerable amount of the kron (money in the game) should be left for them. I was partying a while ago and had to tell my party members (I was the Party Chief at the time) to leave some of the drops for the Acos (it was a female aco if i'm correct).
She thanked me for my consideration and and said how that's one of the reasons she doesn't like to party too much, b/c everybody hogs the drop items. So be considerate to our Acos ppl. Also try resting everynow and then so the Acos won't be killing their mp pots.
2nd goes to our party chiefs out there. You're there not only to send out invites all whilly nilly (taken from Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey show) but to keep the party in order and to make important decisions. One of my favs: (Guys! Run!) lol. and (these damn monsters play no games!) I usually stock up on items (mainly potions, antidotes, and posion immunity and try to give each party member at least 10-20) I remember I was doing the novice labyrinth with my party (so far I've tried and failed ALL times, lol. but it was fun) and before we started I asked who had poision immunity and antidotes.
Just about most of my crew didn't have any so I gave each of them (10-20) some. Its stuff like this we all gotta be considerate about ppl. And as such you might get a good rep as a party Chief and more ppl will want to party with you and your prty members will continue (hopefully) to party with you.
*Quck note on my 1st n 2nd points. I buy about 250 pots and 125 mp pots when partying so I can take some bulk off the Acos healing me. I usually tell them to don't focus too much on me and heal everybody else. As party chief you gotta think about the well being of your members don't you? OH! almost forgot as well if your party members are still hogging the drops, just set everything to random for the item drops.
I'll be back with a part new about knowing our roles...
Sneak peek:
Know your roles ppl. Party chiefs (if your a fighter or are a strong level, BE THE 1ST ONE to attack or to move.) Danger comes with the job description.
Party set up should be: Party Cheif, Fighters and Rogues leading the attack. Mages and Archers a little behind the Fighter and Rogues, and Acos at the back healing everyone. Acos should also have a Mage semi protecting them.... (5 mins till classes start) see yall on the flip side...
