Jus bought lv45 purps?! Its not fair for us!

There that there are people spending huge sum of money on purps without knowin the fact that Fiesta is goin to decrease the stats and the def. I dont think its fair to those who bought it. If they were to know about this, i dont think they will even spent so many Gold to buy it in the first place although the armour is overpowered and the stats need to be adjusted! Now its a huge loss for alot of people and thats UNFAIR! :mad:

Thats not really fair guys, you cant expect everyone to follow all the rumors and forum threads.

There is however no other way to fix it then to nerf them so your complain is a waste of forum space. Unless you feel better now that you vented, then it has surved its purpose.

I came back to this game last Sunday at 10PM from a month and a half of being away...by 11 PM I had heard about the new purples and the broken KQs/bugged tower quest, by 12 AM I heard the new 45 pruples were overpowered, given the stats of 80+ gears and were going to be nerfed so people were trying to sell them off for high amounts of gold in preparation.


....if I could find this out in 2 hours of listening to peope talk in town, why can't everyone else? I didn't do anything special, neither do most other people that know...they just listen and pay attention; if you don't do that, then yeah, you're gonna get screwed...but that's true IRL, not just Fiesta

It's still ridiculous. At least when they were gonna get rid of the batch of blues that wasn't supposed to drop they told everyone about it. The armor they just let people speculate on then changed it out of nowhere.

Again, was anything official ever posted by Outspark? As far as I know it was all speculation. I know it had to be fixed, but OS kinda screwed up on this one. With gear that good they should've known people would pay big money for it, they should've given some type of notice on it as soon as they realised the mistake. They spam notices for CS items, how hard would it have been to change that to a notice about changing lvl 45 purples?

What was speculation? The idea that level 45s were supposed to have def/eva and stats of level 70 and 80 players was completely outrageous. Armor of 1 level should be less capable than armor of the next -that is the fact of this game. A level 45 blue should not be more powerful than a 55, and certainly not as powerful as a 75 blue. It was obvious from the get go that the level 45 blues were going to be changed.

The only reason you didn't see it coming was you didn't want to.

As much as I agree that a quick, 'official' response (such as you describe) from OS would have been nice, there were posts from staff in some of the threads about them. But regardless, as players, we can't expect constant hand holding. We have to think for ourselves sometimes when we're waiting for a response. When the stats were so drastically unbalanced it only made sense that they were going to be changed even without said responses. Knowing this, the people that had common sense wouldn't buy them until those changes were known. Sorry, but this is one time that I don't think people can blame OS for their own poor decisions, or because they were so impatient that they didn't wait for a response before buying. Would you be complaining any less if they'd done a 7 day rollback to account for people's lack of judgement?
