welcome to the club. You can either spam/make a lot of post and get chosen based on getting noticed, or you can just not waste their bandwidth with meaningless banter. =)

False, spamming will not get you chosen. It will get you noticed sure but you won't get chosen because you spammed the forums.
The best way to get invited it to just stay active on the forums and be helpful. Break said that in one of his posts even, it's all based on luck if you're chosen or not.

actually i just DLed the client and got in without an email invite. So who knows how it works now.

Some players are able to do that, right now you're only able to play by invite only. With that said you can only be invited by a member of the GM staff. Consider yourself lucky because somehow you managed to bypass that, some speculate that one certain country is able to download and play without an invite needed. But honestly, who knows.

i think i got my invite solely for needless flaming on the forums and calling somebody a ******.
i would try that if nothing else seems to let you in.
