Is there any way to learn more production skills beyond the first two I picked in the beginning?

No, a character is limited to 2 production skills. However, you can always make alternate characters with the other production skills.

Make a second character with the skill points you want and put it on them. In case you don't know, all your characters share the same storage... so short of having to switch characters you basically have all the skills at your disposal...

There is an item you can buy using SC that removes one of your production skills. I think it used to be glitched in that after you removed a skill, you couldn't learn another one in its place. Although, I'm pretty sure it's all good now.
