How do purchase stores work when setting one up? It's a bit confusing to me.

How do purchase stores work when setting one up? It's a bit confusing to me.


Pressing the H key will bring up a small menu. In thise case you would select "Sell". This will bring up a box with 5 slots in it.

What you'll need to do is take an item from your inventory that you want to sell. Drop it in a slot and a new box will pop up with the various currency. Select the payment type (gem, gold, silver, copper) boxe(s).

For example if you wanted to sell a Lix[2]. You'd follow the above instructions. When the payment type box comes up you could put 1 in the 2nd box from the left (silver obviously) and 500 in the far right box (for copper).

You continue to put in items and prices until finished. Now you can just press the OK/Sell key and it'll automatically set up, or you can choose to put a small advertisement above your mushroom (that long bar above the 5 slots).

Okay, what about if I want to buy items? How do those stores work?

NP, everyone starts as a newbie. :)

So, the sense of a Purchase-Shop (Buy-Button in the vendor menue, described above :rolleyes:) is that you buy the items you put into the five slots for the price you decide. If someone has the item (or more of them) and is willing to sell you this/those item(s) for the price you've decided, then he can sell it to you. In other words you are buying the items of others. (Remember that you must have at least 1 of the items you want to purchase/buy)

The Sale-Shop (Sell-Button in the vendor menue) is the opposite. If you have items you can't use, but whether the NPCs nor other Players offer you the right amount of money for those items, you can open this shop to sell your items for the price you decide.
