View Full Version : Buffer Overrun

Ever since the most recent patch a couple days ago, I'm getting a buffer overrun every time I leave a sale store (mushroom house) open for more than a few minutes. At that time a windows error message is displayed and the game closes. This error has occured several times. I haven't timed it, but every time I return to my PC, the screen is completely white except for the attached error message.

I have the same bug except that I also get it when I just run around in town without clicking a shop.

Same problem, Buffer overrun when the game starts I walk and then the crash comes.

It seems everyone has that problem today. At least all my friends crashed in town at least once too. I hope you can fix it soon because we can't play anymore. :-/
Edit: By the way, now it just crashes instantly without giving the error message after some seconds. :-(

im new in this game start 2day ago make a shop last night come back after sleep got this error now can open the game coming face of smith in rumen
whitout error the game close by herself sometime write the buffer overrun message....

I had this error too, except it occured everytime when I joined kingdom quest... frustrating...

ok..same login , use newb char (allready created) no crash..., lvl 20 crash.
just down loaded , 5 days ago , so should be updated...

I had just finished a Kingdom Quest when mine happened.

What everyone has in common is that he's in Roumen town at the time when it occurs. It isn't related to shops/kingdom quest, although it might happen when you were just doing something other then running.
It's really weird that the error only occurs at certain times and after an hour it's usually gone again.

Im not saying this will work or anything but the people spamming all those websites about buying the gold or powerleveling are helping to get the buffer overrun error because they cause so much lag so I think we should change the spam blocker(the little lock i think)so it blocks all normal chat mode spammers. Also because some new people want to play this game avoid the place where you first start in Roumen.
