So if you haven't checked the calendar for some new events here it is.
Draw your favorite monsters from game and post it on the forum thread.
One entry per person, GMs choose 5 finalists. Community will vote for top three.

By digitally what do you mean? Using a wacom tablet to do the drawings?
I believe what we are looking for are drawn images, they can be hand drawn and then scanned in. They can be done with any digital program/etc.

Thanks. Well, I have my picture done. It's a Bobble-Head Swordsmen. It's my profile for Outspark now. (I had to do something with a bobble-head because I usually draw heads too big for the bodies).

hint for this thing: it helps to be a spriter. a lot. for those of you that dont know what a spriter is, you probably arent one but ill post a definition.

Spriters are essentually people who take video game or cartoon sprites(mostly video game ones, usually 2D games like pokemon or early megaman monsters), and mess with the image(add/subtract parts, color change, feature change, fusion with another sprite).

For those of you that dont know what a sprite is(not the soda):

Sprite: An image taken from a game or similar in .jpg form, usu 2D monsters or characters.

As for Pandaxtor's suggestion of a rynx with fiery eyes, spriting would be helpful with that. I might actually do that. No im not gonna enter it, but I will post it on my profile untill the end of this event

I'm using 3ds max and yea I'm creating an environment for my bot ^^

still new to mental ray lol so it will take time to get the texture, lighting, and deep of field right

must i remind u ppl, that the contest was suppposed to be remaking a monster, rather than drawing it fancy.

under that, only mine, borrunt's, dark anime's first one (with no background), max2extreme's, and dyan1's fit criteria for contest.

or rather, thats my understanding of how its supposed to work..........but still, these are ALL (the forum mvp draw ur @#$@#$ contests) based on creativity so far, so just copying a monster from the game isnt creative, no matter how u copy it.

Man, I hope I got in the top five. I doubt I did, considering I couldn't use the computer at all for editing and what not. But, I at least did okay.

The design took only 40-50 min (excluding the background)
