:Dok now i know that u good players have a lot to say to noobs but why call them that. i mean u where noobs befor and u got better, so why call som one a noob whn you know that they will some day kick ur butt, it kind of stupid to do that iam new and i was called a noob for many things like, asking for buffs, money, help for lvling, and much more. but with all that hlp i bcam a good player. so next time when a new player comes in dont say noob say can i help u?

Noob = Idiotic Stupid player who's just generally an idiot and are generally scammers or something.
Newb = New player.
Basically noob is being used incorrectly :]

The term "noob" can be used the exact same way as "newbie", but most use it to mean that the person is stupid or ignorant.

newb and noob have been mistaken for one another for so long lol. but yeah what zop said:
newb = new player. seing as the word "new" is in the word it obviously refers to it
noob = an inexperienced/immature player. mostly used as an insult. this word is the one people usually use for either definition

People are also called noobs for ignorance outside of games. Such as being ignorant of the way very common words are spelled.
(Seriously, is it that hard to add that 1-2 letters to words like u and why add a space instead of the e for someone. Same number of characters.)
