You can pick from a list of songs already in game if that was the question....

OMG OMG! I love this kind of game. It make my finger wanna spam the keyboard faster n more faster! I'm one of the top player in Audition! (SEA) And also 02Jam (Before they decide to stop hosting it)

Well every game that I play, you can only choose the song ingame, and they will bring new song every week or month by considering players suggestion, polls etc. Its a nice game. It make me going crazy everytime I play this kind of game. Its the same as Audition, Highstreet5, STEP, and some others. Well Its a great game to realese your tension. Just dont spam your keyboard too hard. You can easily be lagg if u use low ram pc. The game need good and great graphic card and also large ram because the game will easily lagg and sometimes crash if u using low graphic card or ram. The stage or background, plus movement, easily to make you lagg.

oh actually murdock in "guitar hero - greatest hits" Technically the community did pick the songs because they brought togethther their favorite songs from the original games.. But then the songs from the original wasn't so it kinda defeats the whole thing. but still thought i'd tell u. xD

Um I hate to say it but NO!

How ever we can take input on the type of Genres and work to please you all...

Or you could have given him the other professional answer:

"Unfortunately, since we don't have that kind of money to blow on boring copyright songs in which I'm sure you've heard on the radio or the net about about over 9000 times & due to the rest of our games being rather lackluster to bring in more potiential customers so we can gets more money, you'll have to make due with the original songs already in the game."

At least, that's how I see it here. Anyway, Debut is pretty much ok the way it is but it would at least drive me away from the game if I had to hear some song I know I can hear on the radio or on some b-rated console game (Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Beatmania IIDX, or ITG..........sorry, not all companies can be good like Pentavision and make good inhouse produced music *DJMax FTW!*).

Sorry if my "opinion" sounds harsh but I haven't seen nothing good out of Outspark since the Fiesta beta..........maybe Debut will change my opinion about the company. Till then, my thoughts stand as it is.

well..Fiesta isn't really the best game ever..lol sorry, just my opinion..

anyways...we SHOULD have at least some say in the song that go in-game...but you know, this is Outspark..and they aren't very good at listening to the community..

lolwhat? They've listen to blackshot players whine for months even though the players (who apparently can't read) know that Outspark can't do anything about Blackshot not being out.
As for propow, they definitely did listen to their community during the closed betas (didn't really play OBT, so dunno)

To say they don't listen to the community is ridiculous.

lmao they did not listen to the community during CBT, they just did as they wanted.. and they got fed up eventually of ppl complaining about blackshot, so they made an announcement about it..

they don't really accept input from the community

(but lets stop now while we're ahead, dont wanna get a thread closed cause of flaming :P)

Yeah, the main issues with this are copyrights and licensing. Outspark will have to pay a royalty fee for songs used and have the permission of the owner of the songs to be able to have it in a game that they are hosting which will limit what songs we will be able to play in DGO.
