To all who read this; I'm a new member to the WS community and am looking forward to lots of pvp action. I'm yet to decide on my character officially(this may be determined by responses i get,) but at the moment i am looking at either mage priest or rogue. I played all of these in WoW and have gladiator experience as a mage(arguably the highest skill capped class in wow.) Basically im a great pvper looking for other great pvpers to play with.

Welcome to Windslayer. ^^

Though I haven't played WoW, I can assure you that WS PvP is quite different. I'm guessing that your experience in playing WoW won't help. Unless you are talking about mind games with ppl.

As for classes, I have not played a Priest yet, but they can be quite the problem for PvP. Self healers are quite a problem in my book. Lol. Rogues have one of the greatest combos in the game, with a Stun, attack, attack, attack, poison. Most call this overpowered, but I call it just right. For mages, my preferred class, they have the highest damage. They can take down half a player's life in 2 hits. Almost everyone says they are overpowered, but hey, mages are supposed to hit hard.

It's up to you to decide which class you go for. Have fun and Happy Lvling. ^^

welcome to WS

well deo pretty much sums up to who you can team up with (just make sure deo is in your team :D ), I also have to agree with max...archers are pretty good too and are awesome :3....I guess when you go to pvp, observe the players and you'll see which ones are amazing pvpers regardless of what their pvp rank is...

But what actually do you mean by pvp partners?A group that you'll always try and be party with?or asking class?

To be more specific - I'm looking for players to consistantly pvp with. I'm sure there are some class with great synergy and proper combinations of classess can be very fun. I'm looking for quality players to share this experience with - people I can count on pvping with consitantly. And thankyou everyone for your imformative replies.

Theres a difference in mates' view of Good.
My only question : Does he/she/it Spam-Skill-Stackin' singly?
If Yes = Not good.
If No = Good.
Depends on the match = Agreed,Good.

You'd best announce what times you usually play to the general public, on this here thread, so someone that plays during similar times can contact and subsequently stalk you. :p
Don't forget to mention your timezone.

And as far as synergy goes, all that is required for a passable coordinated attack (the victim will call you a 'teamer', which shows that you did it correctly) is a good sense of how long ices, triple/merciless strikes, and regular hits make the opponent impossible to hit. And the 'cast times' for your abilities.

One more thing: Regardless of whether you choose to be a mage, priest, or archer, be sure to spend a decent amount of time in the novice arena using your stick. The stick is a reliable backup/alternate weapon for when you run out of mp or someone is too close to you for your jump-strongarrow to hit them.

Your best alternate for mages and priests (when mp finishes) and archers also(i guess :\ )for when opponents come close range :)
