Regarding Archers Significance

I'm a lvl 14 archer in Bijou, and damage, meh, could be better. Only advantage I see is the distance fighting, but even then, I see mages owning at my level. Do archers become more kick *** somewhere along the lvls?

Typically after level 25, when a SPR to 25 and then Pure STR build begins to see some progress.

Well I was originally going for the 25 spr, 25 dex, 50 str. @.@

So is a STR/SPR 3:1 build good for Damage archers then? :S
