Capture the Flag

Hi Everyone,
I had a go on CTF yesterday and I assumed that the idea (if I am on the blue team) is to capture the red teams flag and then run with the flag back to your own "orb" and place the flag in there? However, I kept on doing this yesterday and the flag was constantly just waving around to my right.

Had anyone got a user guide on HOW TO PLAY caputre the flag?? And yes, you may call me a NOOB if you wish to do so. :-)

CTF is boring iWouldn't know but iThink :
You're supposed to have your own flag enable to score with the flag.

You are not the only one phoenix, the first time I've tried CTF I was so confused and I got really frustrated and it was really laggy :C. I still don't get how to play that game....Im a CTF nub :C

Ok, hopefully this will help as Ive done alot of searching and found this out:-

If you are in red team, one member of the team should collect the blue teams flag and return it to the red base. However, you can only get the point, if the red teams flag is there at the same time. In other words, if your own flag is not on the base, you cannot place the other teams flag down. You have to kill the person who has your teams flag!

Let me know if need clarification.

in order to score in capture the flag u must have in your possion the opposing teams flag (the one on ur back) and your home flag

well...i would agree but...the marvelous thing of ctf is not the capturing....its actually killing people.....its actually a pvp but not with lives counts....with time counts only.....i remember a day that a got 300+ wsp from one battle of ctf....well the flag thats in red base is just a background the flag is in the red glowing spot, with a player(and this player will be glowing),or in the ground where the flag carrier was killed

Geh...now CTF is completely glitched up. ._. You can't return the flag and can almost never score...plus for some reason no one can win or lose anymore. x.x

Is it just me or people don't really care about the flag, well when I join CTF people just love to kill the opponents to get more points, well that's what I do anyway :P

I think there really is no ponit to CTF. I mean you get a round ponit for getting the flag but no WSP or EXP or anything close to it. Make the flag worth something other then 1 round ponit. Or recall the game DMWUF (Death Match With A Useless Flag):D
