Scrolls..

So, I'm probably going to sound like such an idiot for this... but I need help with scrolls. I've read some of the other threads, and they just confuse me.

I have bought the skills from Ruby, multiple times just because I thought the first one was faulty... Not my best idea.

So I'll use Elrue as an example.
I buy it, go to inventory, right click the purple scroll and then in my text box it pops up 'Selected Production Scroll Cannot Be Learned'.
Now I'm thinking, maybe I bought it and used it already, but when I go to click on 'produce', the thing says that The Production Skill has not yet been obtained.

I also have everything I need to make the scroll, so what am I doing wrong?

open your skills menu and go to alchemy you'll need to select your two professions through a little button bottom of that menu.

Okay, well to further my stupidity, am I am okay with it, because it would be stupider to not admint.... I am still lost. Okay, I opened the little button, and I get a list of stills like stone production and potion production and etc. but I don't know what to do with them. I don't really know what you mean by two professions either...

ok you see those two empty bozes at the top? you click two of the images of production skills from the list and they will pop into the top empty ones, than you press the confirm button at the bottom now youve selected your two prod. skills
btw you cant change em later on so select wisely

That was what I was worried about. I picked those a long time ago, which is why I was probably so confused. Thanks for your help again. I think I have it covered now.
