I dunno. I would think anything rock with a fast beat/tempo. Something like dragonforce XD Not to mention their music has a somewhat fantasy theme to it so it fits ^^

I can pretty much grind to anything, or to nothing for that matter. But if I really, really need to get into a long-term grindgrindgrind session, it's not even a genre- it's straight to "repeat play" and Blue Oyster Cult's original version of "Veteran of the Psychic Wars." Heavy martial drumbeat setting the pace, and awaaaaaay we go!
"You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
I've been living on the edge so long where the winds of Limbo roar
And I'm young enough to look at, and far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside- I'm not sure that there's anything left of me..."

I was trying to say that this thread probably wouldn't be counted as advertising due to the fact that there used to be a popular thread with a realitive topic.

i seem to grind better to angry music, it keeps me going. but if i'm just marathon plaing i put my entire 2x gb collection on shuffle minus most of the christmas music. I said most of the christmas cause i got some that are still in the wrong genre category....
My random collection includes everything from disney songs, game and movie soundtracks, country, rap, metal, rock, classical, hip hop, pop, alternative, and techno. It's crazy when you go from songs from the lion king to eminem absolutely epic and good for a laugh.
