" I didn't realize this until my friend said it yesterday and that is:

Fiesta's storyline isn't INTERESTING

Is there any real reason to talk to NPC's aside from Restoning and quests? The answer is a big, fat, red, NO

The stories from roumenous? Dreadfully boring! The links on the site for us to read? Is there any reason to read them?

What the game needs is something eyegrabbing like a cutscene or two.

In the first MMO I played there was a Bank Guard hiding in a tree, when you inspected the tree the first time he showed you a cutscene where another NPC Robbed a bank.

For 230 Gold Pieces, you could see the cutscene again.

And It wasn't a cutscene with just NPC's, they Included fake characters to make it seem realistic. They had someone buying items- even said "No noob offors", they had that one idiot speaking leetspeak, and then some random guy (They were all killed, one character lost a rare item, which the NPC took and still wears)

There was also (For the P2P atleast) an area where a war between two species of characters was going on. There were NPC's actually dying on the field, not only that: BUT YOU COULD FIGHT IN THE WAR TO! andTHAT was something I LOVED about the game. I can't count how many times I would waste spells on that little war.

And it's these small things that could make a person a bit more interested in the game.

Nobody really wants to take the time to read what roumenous says, they just skip his monologue and get the Experience.

Now...what if the story of Isya was a Cutscene?

What if Myzen's lost love was a cutscene?

Or Grandpa Robin's story about Mara?

These are things to look foreward to in your gaming experience ._.;
Unlike that boring paragraph...

Also- what if the NPC's Actually moved? What If Remi actually walked around with one of those teacher sticks to simulate that she is a teacher?

ALSO!

For noobs- how about a tutorial cutscene? When I started playing nothing was actually explained to me, I start my new char and all I get this annoying window that I just want to go away. I talk to npc's and I get a free like- 1.5 Silver and I don't even have to read the stuff they say.

Why don't you show me something like...Karl? A backstory of Karl breaking weapons left and right? In the end he makes a weapon +9

And when +10 comes out- why not show us how a great blacksmith developed the +10?

And then something about the Cash Shop...

Now I've been told that in the Korean Version of fiesta there are some items that can't be bought in the cashshop freely that we have.

Charms serve as an example.

In Korean Fiesta charms are only available via Remis (From what I've heard)

I think this would actually weed out the players who have the "90% Cookied" Build and let those with actual Skill shine.

RESET SCROLLS?

I checked today, You have to buy at least 10$ of spark cash if you want to fix a small mistake you did like going full str on a mage until level 28 when your friend FINALLY tells you that Str Mages suck... its either

1) Spend 10 bucks
2) Start a new char
3) Somewhat struggle with Skill/Statpoints you view as wasted (Oh Look, I have to spend money to enjoy an F2P Game)

Why should these items which a character might actually need to progress in the game (1) Be only available in Cash Shop Lol? (2) Be Over 5$, the smallest ammount of Spark Cash you can purchase at one time?

Items with No real Bonuses?

Now, I'm not sure if they still do this, but when I started I received 250 spark cash for FREE.

With this free sc do you know what I could buy at the time? An hour long sp extender. Know why I didn't buy it? The lack of an explanation of the game THAT I COULD SHOW INTEREST IN.

/Rant

Anyway, the point is that I think items that give NO SORT OF BOOST WHATSOEVER (Looks at Summer boop set) SHOULD be something you actually have to pay for ._. (At least the first time).

The Purchase of Spark Cash Itself

Now, everybody who knows math knows that there is absolutely NO Reward for purchasing a large amount of spark cash (I don't think the 25$ Target Cards even give the free remi's play anymore)- why is this? Buying five sets of 5$ should give less spark cash than one 25$ purchase.

Perhaps SC should come more like:

5$ - 3,500sc
10$- 9,000sc
25$- 20,000sc
-Deep Breath-

Bleh...

The point of a game like this- or any F2P MMO really, is for a person to be able to enjoy the game FOR FREE. And eventually, they should think in their mind "Hey, I have so much fun for free, I'll spend a little bit to have even more fun! ;D"

Now, Fiesta on the other hand... Is more like

"Well, The game is Kinda ok...Barely worth my money...but this community is so nice...I guess I'll spend some money"

And afterwards they go

"Wow...This game is slightly more bearable I should do this on a regular Basis"

Sadly, these people are leaving to P2P Games because:

You shouldn't have to spend money to enjoy an F2P Game.

/Rant ._.; "

KungfuHobo posted this in player suggestions, however people stopped making suggestion and started talking about this, so I am posting it here.
I rather liked it, what are your thoughts?

Lol. I liked the runescape cut scenes too. I think every quest you did had some cutscene built in. And even the ability to see areas you wouldn't normally get to see. sure you couldn't DO anything there but you could still see. How cool would it be to go to something and it shows you what people are doing in like BR or some high level place. Maybe a little insight to level up and get there yourself.

Useless answer, stop trolling.

As for the OP's post, I quite agree. Nothing makes us want to read the quests.

But that's how Fiesta is. And how it'll stay.

Same for the charms. That is a special Oustpark move. They choose to sell the charms and cookies. To let them stack. And to unbalance the game with SC items.

While i agree completely with the orig post and all it had to say, I have to say Chaola's post is just the simple facts. Would it have been better to have charms only available in the Remi game? Absolutely. There's an old saying that Outspark obviously dosen't know.. "If it aint broke, don't fix it."

Other versions of Fiesta have ran alot longer than our version, it's obvious they are doing something right without blatently showing their selfishness for money like Outspark is doing.

Books? What are those?

To think the story is bad because it must be read is a ridiculous point. What makes the story hard to bear are the spelling, grammar, and consistency mistakes all over. Not the words.
