So Just wondering what YOU think is the best?
Few hours of sleep? (2-4 hours)
or
No Hours of sleep? (ALL NIGHTERS FTW)
And why you picked which

You cannot function normal with little to no sleep. Sorry been there working for years with little to no sleep. At the end of the day, my hair is brittle, eye with bags, developed lower back pain and you cannot really focus well. LOL I end up paying a lot to hair salon and beauty salon to get back my original look.

Lol yea
I have to get up in 4 hours and iunno if i should say up or go to sleep. Im not really a morning person so i was thinking id be better just staying up

From that darn experience, best sleep 4 hr. It some how work a nice cycle and you will feel refreshed. 4 hr - 8 hr work the best.
3 hr may as well stay up because you only feel more tired.

Two hour sleeps are killers. I get so tired after them that I can do nothing but stare till I start snoring out loud at the breakfast table.
I'm fine with 20 minute naps, but I can't stand short sleeps.

Yea i think i did a few hours one time for school. the next day was hell... lol
so now ill try no sleep. I think im nocternal anways cause im never tired at night xD

Few hours sleep can be bad because it makes you really drowzy, but no sleep can be worse, lack of coordination/consciousness and feeling like you could fall asleep at any second you let yourself aren't pleasant memories I have ;/
Id say get any sleep you can, it will be hard to wake up but once you are it helps your frame of mind a little for the day than having no sleep.
Along the lines of optimum sleep hours~ When we sleep we initially go into "deep" sleep then if you think of it like a line graph [goes down at the start] then increases going up and down and levels out at the top eventually. Because we fluctuate in different depths of sleep, it means its possible to wake up after 8 hours sleep and feel more tired than 7 hours sleep, because at 8hrs you may have been in deeper sleep. Point I was getting to is feeling well slept when you wake up isnt directly related to time slept, so its harder to say what is a good amount of time to sleep~ Ugh I feel sleepy just writing that Dx

Well if no sleep, actually I will be hiper and ok for the next day. Than when the sun set 6:00 I collaps.

Hah. I find this thread funny since I just finished pulling an all nighter. o.o
In my experience, there are different situations where they can both have their ups and downs.
An up side to getting just a little sleep is that your brain gets a little bit of time to repair and sort itself. A draw back would be that when you would wake up would normally be the time when you're going into a deeper sleep so you feel more asleep than you would if you pulled an all nighter.
An up side to an all nighter is that often for a small amount of time in the morning, you will be able to keep yourself awake just long enough so that you can fall asleep later. A down side to this would be if you have to do something later in the day or perform a long task in the morning that require your careful attention.
That's how I work at least. Other people probably don't always share the same sleep routines as me. (I must admit that I really don't have a "routine". Just drop where I am when I'm at home. xD)

well from my experience 4 hours sleep is a good minimum if i can't get that i'll just stay up and take a couple power naps.
note i did a 65hr fiesta marathon on 5 hours of sleep....My friend who said he could stay up longer fell asleep in the abyss.

Well when I pull an all nighter I ussually try and stay up until about 10 PM and then go to sleep and regulate my times. If I take a nap or something its actually more tiring then an all nighter.

My friend can go a week without sleeping. She stays up all night playing WoW.... -.-;;
I, on the other hand would love to stay up as much as she does. Unfortunately mine enforces sleep. It mostly depends on your schedule. What do you do all day? Or all night? Because that effects how weak or strong you are. Also leading to whether or not your body can fight the instinct to sleep.

i can stay up all night but and feel fine the next day till around noon then i pass out on my couch watchin spongebob^ ^
sleep is good. i get like 8 hrs of sleep and still fall asleep in math at school. sleep is good... cept in summer then i pull all nighters almost every night^ ^

With how the human body runs, beauty sleep ftw otherwise I'd be falling asleep while driving. X_X But if only my body was different, I'd choose never to fall asleep because sleep takes away 8 hours of my day when I could be doing other things (A.K.A. LEVEL UP IN FIESTA!).

jkayyy. whenever i get little sleep, i end up more tired than if i stayed up all night so it's not even worth doing. need 8 hours at least or gonna be super cranky the rest of the day ;/
so i guess no sleep ftw?

For me i need a minimum of only 4 hours of sleep. Not because of gaming but for work XD Have to do night shifts sometimes...

yeah i cant sleep..........at all
when ive stayed the awake for more than 36 hours i just cant sleep regularly
i will doze off for 10 minutes at a time but thats no good.
i have found though that listening to bullet for my valentine helps for some reason....especailly waking the demon XP
