hey i was just wondering
where do you get a pet?
and why are they so expensive?
is there a quest for them or something or do you just have to get lucky?

Pets are expensive because they increase stats and make you look cool.

Expensive because they are rare, plus they use a unique equipment slot so there is no disadvantage to having one.
They come from Treasure Chests which spawn randomly in zones, pretty rarely. I have opened 4-5 chests in my time playing and have not gotten a pet, only ever get return scrolls and upgrade stones.
