</gripe>Just curious who let a non-native English speaker write the English NPC text for this game. It's really frustrating to have to read things multiple times to figure out what the hell they mean. Come on, can't you at least run the text through a grammer checker, or hire someone who actually speaks English as their first language to edit the in-game text. The game seems decent otherwise, reasonably well crafted even, except for the text.</end gripe>

It is possible the main programmers aren't English litterate - that is, perhaps they come from a country which doesn't speak English as a primary language (i.e. China, Japan, Iraq, most of Southern America...)
It is equally possible the prgrammers are a group of slave-driven 15 year olds high on lithium, soda and pop rocks and were just trying so dang fast they missed a few typos.
In any case, I'd collect a report of said typos and post them for correction :)

If you check the games company background you'll run across this a few times
* Expert knowledge of PHP and other web-centric technologies
* Javascript / AJAX / REST experience
* C/C++ proficiency
* HTML / CSS proficiency
* Experience creating highly scalable and/or distributed solutions
* Verbal or written Korean language ability a strong plus.
going to take a wing at this and say the devs are korean :p

There are a lot of young people and unemployed people that can't afford a pay game like WoW. I think the #1 offender is the 12 year olds.

I second the motion to fix typos. But beyond that, I think diction and dialect are important too. Make the characters speak like characters, not NPC's. I mean, why not give them accents and things?
I know people are going to hate me for mentioning it, but in RO the NPC's frequently made jokes, and it livened things up a bit.
