First impressions on DGO.

I usually hate dance games, I really do. DDR, Audition, you name them, I don't like them. Sorry. I downloaded DGO just for the laughs, honestly... I was first turned off and seeing an all-pink background, which may not appeal to my gender too much, but who cares? I customized my character, actually impressed at the different types of clothing, which I'm sure will be added to a-plenty. I joined my first game, actually doing well. I like the fact that games start you off at a light note, and then getting faster as you progress, it may not be the only game that does it, but it does it at the RIGHT steady pace.

I already like the community, me and my dance partners always "LOL"ing at showtime, and planning out the future pwnage against our enemies, maybe sending a couple bombs or erasers their way. Speaking of which, the attack system is actually pretty fun too. It brings a new sense of competitive factors the likes I haven't seen in a dance game before.

The music in the game is very impressive as well, I've never been a big fan of pop or electrofunk, but the game uses the right mixture of music to get the party started!

Great job, Outspark, you've got yourself a gem here. Keep up the good work with it, and you'll never know how far you get!

Its more like its a hell of alot easier then the others lol I fail at DDR the other one my fingers just don't move that fast lol im only able to play with 2 fingers cause my hand isnt very flexable xD

After Nexon gave up with Audi NA and Redbana took over. I quit because the music was horrible. I switched over to Audi Sea but it was really lagfy for me at times (was either 2 bars ahead or 3 bars behind... LOL). So I had signed up for DGO after seeing their promo vids and I really liked how it looked. Got the e-mail yesterday saying CBT had started and I got on as soon as I could. My first impression was how it looked. It looked more cute/friendly then all the other dancing games I've ever tried, lol.

I had a great LOL during my first game. When I saw the red arrows, I automatically pressed in the opposite direction thinking it'd be like Audi lol.

but i'd have to disagree with the "DGO really pwned audi this time" comment. it just started and nothing much is here yet. lets wait after cbt and obt then we can judge. cus if we judge now, audi is definitely better than CBT of DGO.

I don't quite remember Audi anymore but DGO is doing pretty good so far in my books. But I know that it's way to early to say anything after having played OS' other games. :P So we'll just have to see how things go after CBT.

I don't know if I can say it is the best dance game I have ever played. 5Street NA and High Street 5 SG are pretty good games. But this game is the most easy Dance game I played, there are some sync issues I have noticed but this is CBT so I would expect those types of bugs so I can honestly give this game 9/10 and this is just CB. Lets hope they add some even better music when they update.

You're supposed to keep the erasers for yourself and your team. They are the one item that helps you.

Well to those saying that this game pwns audition and stuff I'm going to be fair and say that theres no point ni comparing these two games xD. I myself play both Audition and DGO and find myself to actually enjoy both, they are both totally different games with the exception of the genre. I think we should keep it at that, I can see people fighting over which one is better :X.

I also play 5street USA and Groove Party. I saw this game and its really different. First of all, is on how you press the arrows and the cute characters. So I gave it a try and woops, its really cute and I like it very much. ;]

I can't wait to see how this game improve and make a hit.

Hmm as a rabid audi fanboy, I admit it pains me a little to see so many people hating on it.

I will say that I like DGO better for the character designs/clothes - everything looks a lot nicer here than even Season 2 of audition.

What still draws me to audition over DGO though would have to be the variety of gameplay modes. While it's true they're all essentially the same arrow filling (with the obvious exceptions of Beat Up/1, 2, Party), there are a lot of different ways you can play.

DGO has no couples system/wedding feature which is a little disappointing. I also have yet to hear of anything like tourneys, Battle Parties, FAM battles, or several other audi features that I love from any Korean Debut user.

So overall I'd say that I like both for different reasons. ATM I'm hooked on DGO but that's because it's something new and refreshing and I've been playing audi for 2.5 years.

And it's so, so, so, so much easier to space perf on DGO than audi. x31 chain ftw <3

spritzoflime, the game is still closed beta though. Lots of stuff will be added later in OBT. Right now we're just making sure the game works and isn't completely broken.

i love dancing games, but i only play Debut[DGO] or Audition.

5street and Hot step and QQ dance and SDO and DDR r big No No for me .

I felt like Debut is a bit more fun than Audition now, but i still play Audition cause i can't quit Kau D:

plus about Audition, only Kau is the best :(

I never really liked dance games myself either, but when I heard about DGO coming out I thought "Meh, let's go try it!" And yeah I only had time to play yesterday... WOW talk about fun~ :3
I stopped playing once they started shoving me all the time to get off comp. :c But seriously, it's really really fun, and I LOVE the music selection ;o
