I would be very pleased to see all the original songs from the Korean/Japanese versions in ours.
I don't think anyone would have a problem with it...
A good portion of people who use the internet like JP/KR/Etc songs.
A huge portion of people who play MMOs, also watch anime and listen to these songs.
And a good portion of the people who play DANCE games online, are also interested.
I don't see a "bad" side to having the songs in, more options = good.

As long as they dont pass the taxing increase on song royalties, I don't see it being too hard. On top of that, although it would be possible, the fact that the songs would be stored as compressed files that arent directly openable/rippable,
the "Music-game" industry shouldnt be as affected as you cant just record it as you would on the radio and therefor is a safe free venue to get music out without as much of a bootleg risk (even if you record audio output, you'd still have the button clicks in the way of a clean record) making it FREE ADVERTISEMENT for artists. If outspark were to take that approach at acquiring songs, I don't see it being so much of a problem.

The thing is, even small parts of songs on the average person's Vblog on YouTube are making things difficult. The amount of times I've gone to view something and been met with 'this video has been removed due to copyright infringment' or had the audio completely removed is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if the music industry isn't affected by people using snippets of music, or whole songs, even if only a few thousand view it or listen to it - they, the music companies, are getting greedy. It's stupid.

That's why I was asking about it. If they, OS, already have an agreement with whoever manages Data Rock (for example) then we can perhaps suggest songs that that management company already has the rights to.

Eh, am I just thinking too much about something again? Maybe >.<

Agreed. You cannot dance to rock. :/ You can headbang to it, but unless there's a "groove" to it, you can't dance to it. (And I mean ACTUAL DANCING.)

I would be very pleased to see all the original songs from the Korean/Japanese versions in ours.
I don't think anyone would have a problem with it...
A good portion of people who use the internet like JP/KR/Etc songs.
A huge portion of people who play MMOs, also watch anime and listen to these songs.
And a good portion of the people who play DANCE games online, are also interested.
I don't see a "bad" side to having the songs in, more options = good.

These are awesome DDR-esque dance tunes, I dont know if it would be a great idea to throw any non dance music in the game. It defeats the purpose of DDR type games? I dont know what others think about that comment, if its a good tune you can dance to - then it should be considered.
