Spots and Ks

I had a lill problem with the repeatable quest of lvl77 taht includes kill lizardman knights for take some drops.
I was in a couple with one cleric and a fighter and a cleric appeared and "ksed" our mobs. In place to dont lose all the work I used Nova for realese the mobs, and they said we were "ksing" them.
So we asked the other couple to go to the other side hill and the said that they wasn't going to move bcz they were there before their guild start a war. So we started a competition of "ks".
These two trainned on me at least 3 times, and in one time i died by White Joker (I'm a squishy mage, 2500HP only). Also they trainned in other chars that was there.
When they were bored of it, asked for <Removed> friends to come and "ks" us still more (in that time we were with a full party).
We asked again nicely for <Removed> party to go to the other side hill, and they said that we can't claim for a spot bcz that aren't our name there.


If we can't claim for a spot, we can't complain for a "ks" too, the mobs doesn't have names of each char written in their faces.

So I want the honest opinion of all tevians that read it.

But Ksing off someone FOR the spot
is kinda bannable (i think)
So they were in the wrong

Well ksing= Illegal [hitting another persons mob after they've attacked it/ have agro(?) of it]
Mobbing in an area [spot] where someone else was there before you= Legal, but commonly seen as disrespectful. You can't claim spots as you said /:

If someone does the 2nd to you can
1st-Party them [especially if its a quest this is an easy solution]
2nd-Try talk to them nicely
3rd-Try get as many mobs in the area as possible [without ksing] and hope they leave
4th-Move to a different area

Really the easiest thing to do in situations like this is check if you have anything else you could do and come back when its clear ;/

2 of em work well together, but oh no ppls gotta take one of thoose 2 if there's someone there, they cant take teh third spot and still get the same amount of mobs ~.~

lol i never heard of anyone getting perm ban for a KS and also its only extreme ksing that would get one in trouble, like harrasment a person ks ing you 30 times that kinda of thing


but KS happens, happens less now so be lucky about that, now adays with all the respeats not much claiming but a lil ks ing because you all trying to go same mobs same time, this is where ranged players over non ranged come in, there will be ks cause the person eunning to it first vs the one that can range it will always say my mob first yada yada,


just do something else or shout in map about it, but u did kinda blacklist, and all i going say about that is doesnt surprise me about them ;) ;)

Well, it's courteous and respectful to not enter an area that someone else is already using. But, some guilds and individuals aren't exactly known for being courteous and respectful, if you know what I mean. They don't care what other people think, they don't care how rude they are or who they offend. And unfortunately, the idiots on Fiesta are the ones who get ahead while the nice ones get left behind.

Yes, they should have gone to the other side of the hill. No, they should not have trained you. What they did was wrong, but nothing can be done about it. The only thing that could've been done is that you could've left your spot where you already were, and moved to the other side of the hill, even though you're not supposed to have to do that. Or do something else, or log out and come back later. Because, well, idiots who act like idiots are rewarded and get what they want.

as to accusing <Removed> of ksing thats not true I was there with some friends I was only <Removed> member there and a fighter and cleric was mobbing the fighter kept mocking all mobs i was aoeing A little later there was 3 parties there and if I aoe a mob i am not ksing and if i have aoe it you have no right to attack it but LK is one of the worst im on to bigger and better :D People think because they been there for an hr they own the monsters there You are the mage that rgued and said since mobs didnt have your name they didnt have mine either and you begain using nova on all mobs i was kiting so dont leave out all the details

people sometimes get conufsed with spot stealing and kill stealing

a kill steal means they they have already been dmged by another person befor u attack

a spot claiming means a war/pk over a spot in an map that is against tos ^^ (this doesnt include abyss but that us just plain rude when u do it there)

plz stop kill stealing plz have consideration to players who are already there cause its unfair that you just move in and start taking the mobs when a party is already there befor you there are meny other things you could be doing while you wait for a pty or fot the spot to clear this will allow the game to run more smothly ^^

If you have hit a monster first or it has agroed on you, then, yes, you should have the opportunity to kill it and no one else should attack it. Although, I have never heard of anyone receiving a ban for KSing, Outspark has said KSing is not allowed. However, you do not "own" a spot. LK gives the best exp for 77-78. Some people can only play at certain times. Since Outspark has said no one owns a spot, a player newly arrived has as much right to be there as someone there for hours already. If you feel sharing is not giving you enough exp, then go do something else.

-Blacklisting is not allowed. It is defined as bringing unwanted negative attention to an individual or group. I have edited out the name of the guild.

-KSing is not allowed. Once or twice is a mistake...repetitive is reportable. Please screenshot and submit a ticket.

-Spot claiming is not allowed. Threatening war, or warring over a spot is prohibited. Please ss and submit a ticket.
