Seriously, we NEED this. Each game, a 1st place winner gets about 2k of cash. Items in-game can cost about 160k more or less. That is 80 games of 1st placing...... 5 mins per game we can get maybe 12 games per hour WITHOUT the waiting for the room to fill up.....
We NEED to be able to sell our items.... or else everyone will go broke fast

I noticed something irritable in this community....
GM's don't even reply to us! Well, they do but barely. At least acknowledge our feedback and stuff, if not our existence.

I was probably level 3 when I started buying stuff and I still have tons left over. Also, are you sure money is based on where you place and not based on score?

I bought clothes about 2 hours after CBT opened up yesterday. 80 games with an average of 5 minutes per game is almost the entire day yesterday.

You're kidding, right? You really expect the GMs to test the game, make sure everything stays working fine, read every single post on this forum and reply to all of them? Sorry, they're human, the time to do all of that isn't there.

Hi, how are you? I'm fine too. I was lvl 1 when I bought my clothes and I picked a setup that I thought looked fine. Then I played the game and found that my outfit is overused so I decided to buy a new set of outfits. I still have about 80k left but I still think we need to have the ability to sell items. It is my suggestion. And no I am not sure if money is based on where you place and not on score, I assumed that because so far all the other games I have played work that way.
There is NO WAY that is correct. I bought clothes about 2 hours after CBT opened up yesterday. 80 games with an average of 5 minutes per game is almost the entire day yesterday.
Your sentence is a little vague, so I'll attack it in any way I see fit. First of all, when you bought clothes, you already had about 700k of in-game cash with you, giving you the ability to buy clothing 2 hours after CBT opened. Second, if you are saying that it's not possible that my calculation is correct, then re-read what I wrote for I am SURE that I stated that it would be 160K for 80 games ASSUMING that you get 2k for every 1st place you get(which I observed when I had 1st place). Also, if you are saying that it's "not correct" that you get about 12 games per hour given that an average game lasts 5 mins, then try using a calculator. There are 60 mins in one hour. Divide 60 by 5 and you get 12 games, IF you remove all the waiting for people to join your room, room hunting, AFKing, etc. If you say that you played 80 games the whole entire day yesterday, then than means that you have played DGO yesterday for at least 7 hours. Kudos to you if you did that non-stop. You are a dedicated CB tester or a player that finds much entertainment from this game.

First of all, I merely stated my opinion about the GMs. Yes, they are busy. Yes, they are fixing bugs right now. Yes, they do reply on some threads. But NEVER did I ever mention that they need to reply on ALL threads. How about you read the bug-reports forum. Count how many on those bug-reporting threads did the GMs reply to before I made this thread. How "big" do you think this forum is? There are basically only two sub-forums, and I've seen about 5 GMs in-game in just an hour yesterday. Looking back on my past experiences, I've seen forums much bigger and much more active than this one where the GM's actually interact with the player community and respond to their questions and concerns. Yes, even the newly-formed ones.
Indeed these GMs are human, but so are other GMs that I have met prior to joining this forum. My previous post is simply a reflection I made at that moment. Though I have to admit I was a bit harsh on their first 2 days.

You made it sound like you expected a reply in every single thread. 90% of the bugs posted in the bug-reporting threads are already on the Known Issues list that everyone sees every time they load up DGO; GMs have no reason to post in them.

Item selling might be nice - although I was able to jump from 80k to about 200k in a single day's playing - so while it might be time consuming to obtain outfits, it's not totally impossible.
I think the lament comes from prior experience with Audition Online where you can spam battle parties for about an hour and come out 1,000,000 beats richer. x.x
I'll probably just end up cashing most of my clothes, assuming we get some decent stuff.

RAY! xDD
Haha yeah I agree~
Earning money isn't that hard for me (or rather, I don't need that much money hahah since I'm satisfied with very few clothing. xD ), but it would be nice to have a sell option.
Though, what would you sell? ._.
It's not like you can get clothes or accessories from games... I guess you can sell off your used clothes after you've run out of space, but you can't earn a profit since people can buy from the shop as well. xD

I wouldn't mind a selling item option. I'm not desperate for it as I'm OK with making money too, but it would be nice to be able to sell an item I don't want anymore for a lesser price or something.
Playing individual mode/2x speed/faster songs will earn you more money as you can get high scores in those games since you will be hitting more notes like rasblackfire said. I think. I find that I earn a lot more exp in those too, so I assumed that the same goes for the money, I didn't really double check in game.

I admit, I would like to be able to sell my un-used items. I change my outfit a lot, and even right now i'm slowly running out of space and money because I bought two whole outfits. It's not hard to earn money, though. The only reason I would like that is so I could sell back un-needed items.

Yeah, I was going to sell an item today but I noticed you can only throw it out... it felt like a waste if I did, so I didn't. xD

[quote]You're saying that one item costs an entire days worth of playing.
Yes, I am saying that, assuming that a game is 5 mins long and an item (such as the one I last saw before leaving the game yesterday) cost 158K.
And I've still got 500k left over after buying my stuff after only one day playing. Money is definitely not an issue :/
No, it is definitely not an issue.... for you. Not everyone is satisfied with buying just one outfit and sticking to it for a long time, nor is everyone okay with buying only just one outfit. And what about those who make a mistake when buying outfits? Like I said, I bought two outfits due to my first being too popular. After my second outfit, I had about 80k left. I was about to sell my old outfit, but I found out that I couldn't. You cannot simply cast away in-game money just because an individual such as you do not find it so necessary.
Average song time is around 3-3:30.
You never corrected me. In fact you used the same "5min avg song length" information to reply to me. Besides you said:
80 games with an average of 5 minutes per game is almost the entire day yesterday.
You sure sounded like you spoke from prior day's experience.
You made it sound like you expected a reply in every single thread. 90% of the bugs posted in the bug-reporting threads are already on the Known Issues list that everyone sees every time they load up DGO; GMs have no reason to post in them.
So you are saying that it's ok if some of our beta-testers can't even start the game and actually test it. No need for the GMs to help them right? Also, I didn't make it sound like I wanted them to reply to 90% of our threads. I made it sound like they need to reply to us at least sometimes. How many posts have you seen the GMs make? You simply assumed that I want them "to reply to every single thread." As far as I interpret it, the statement "At least acknowledge our feedback and stuff, if not our existence." doesn't translate to me expecting them to "reply in every single thread."
