Question about crew roles

I did a search for "manager" but haven't found anything, so I'll assume this hasn't been answered yet D;

Anyone know if the different roles (manager/member/newbie) have different powers? Can managers invite people? A friend tried before and couldn't, but I just want to make sure if only masters can invite crew members.

I know for sure that Managers can invite others but cannot promote them past Newbie.

I figure mangers are somewhat like.. "Jr Master" They can kick, invite and such but not promote people or kick the master ;p
