windows key issue?

If i press the windows key, the game doesn't minimize but it acts as if it does so game is basically frozen on my screen. i cant use ctrl+ alt+delete because it just pops the game back up on my screen. The only thing i can do is act as if it minimized and blindly open the the tab back up. Just something i thought most others might run into also. THxs

If it helps my specs are:

vista 64bit ultimate edition
dual core 2.2ghz
3gigs DDR2
500gb HDD
xfx gtx9800+

And sorry about not putting into step by step

#1. If it helps the only step was pressing the windows key in the game menu just about anywhere- lobby, choosing server,room, shop, etc.

#2. I did not try to minimize the game while in a game session, so I am not sure if it will happen in-game also.
