Whats the cookie cutter way for Mages to put there bonus points in? also more-so to become an elementalist

Its all INT for mages. You can add some SPR as you lvl up(recommended).
At level 50 you should have 35-50 SPR & rest INT.
INT add mages elemental attacks. The prime stat for mages. SPR adds def & max HP. As you get to lvl 40+ plus its must to have atleast 30 SPR to survive.

I prefer spr at same like my lvl (my mage 19 haves 19 spr) and all other points to int.
Mage doesnt need so much def and hp because hes using a distance skills. But if you need to grind (killing as much mobs as you can) your mage for lvl better is for you to hold stats over int 2:1 spr.
