Do quests in this game give you better rewards exp-wise as you go on? I just started and the quests are totally worth less exp-wise in the time it takes to travel from the town to the other map i probably could gain a lvl through grinding, but grinding just isn't fun.

lol its like that in all games really get used to it. It helps to accept a lot at 1 time too.

lost games the quest give decent exp... this one completing a typical quest gives the same exp as killing 3-4 mobs

Well, whit this few quests (not looking at KQ) then it is not realy bad that the quests gives so little xp.


The reason for this are quite simple, this game looks like it is going to turn into a grinding game, where ppl nearly only*grinds. That is sad, becouse the quests are pretty wellmade, have good and very realistic storyies, compared to other places, where it is just "do this". Whit the current setup, it is barly the time wourse doing it (compared to grinding) as just checking the npcs every few lvls takes the same time as grinding the same xp would have taken, AND when you do quests, you have to kill speciel creatures, meaning you will use even more time to kill thouse creatures specificly.


At the current point, the only realy thing that makes the quests wourse to do, is the rewards (when you get your upgrades free, it is good) and the fame (which i dont know what to use for yet) and the posibility that you have to do it, to be able to do some other stuff later on.

in the 30's you'll have repeatables worth 2-4k exp.

how much exp is needed to lvl? I don't care about the amount, only the percentage for lvl you aquire the quest. For all i know 2-4k could only be about 3~6%, thats about what im getting from quests now.

*ive gotten*264 xp from karls sword quest and im lvl 17


i think thats about 5%

yeh i get alot of exp from the lvl 20 quest 360 275 exp.
