it seems that when you read the TOS and send in SS of violations , it seem to change depending on what guild the violation is against,whats up with that? I've saw one guild get punished for a violation then another guild be overlooked...seems kinda odd ,don't it I thought this was about fair game play for all..

maybe if one guild is always being complained about and they do something bad they get punished automaticlly. But if a guild never does anything and someone says they did something wrong then OS would look into it because maybe they didnt do it.

pretty much, its case by case.

if some1 (or guild) had 10 infractions...well the punishment should be more severe then some1 who have it for the first time.

Keep in mind that punishments are not shared with the general public but are kept between the offender and Outspark alone. Just because you do not see an punishment, does not always mean that there wasn't one.

In addition, as the others have mentioned, if one guild has prior infractions or tickets against them Outspark may choose to take a harsher action with them than with the other guild.

Remember that there are two sides to every story, if you'd like to discuss it with Outspark and see if they'll share their reasoning with you please submit a ticket.

I know a guild and a guild master on Teva that should have been banned a long time ago but they are still there doing the same stuff they always do.
So who knows?
They are repetitive offenders of absolutely everything dishonorable and bad and I mean everything but yet they seem to be untouchable.
And their guild members are arrogant beyond belief.
They just move into an area in a group and kick everyone else out and if you don't leave immediately they will either train on you with mobs or war on your guild multiple times and spawn kill everyone with every dirty low tactic imaginable.
And the fill up the dialog with cursing and foul language.

Want to guess who I am talking about?
Everyone on Teva should know who I am talking about.
Here is a hint if you haven't run into them, the name begins with the letter W.

^^, Zeus, I never said you couldn't voice your opinion, Actually I agree with you for the most part. Obviously, everyone has their own views. But this is what I believe.
I have my own personal theories about OutSpark favoritism.
Back when I was on Bijou, One of the strongest guilds on the server got away with just about anything; So I've heard.
I guess there was no valid proof that they did anything wrong, or they reserved punishment, like Celtic said, The punishment is between OutSpark and the Offenders. It's not a public matter.
I take it, You are talking about the exact same guild I am talking about above.
I know what you are saying, this guild gets away with just about anything, Possibly because OutSpark favorers the guild because it harbors the most Sparkcash users on the server, the most members, and the strongest/highest level characters. Or possibly because there has been no valid proof of the wrongs this guild has committed.
My point is: I feel that this guild which you are talking about didn't receive any form of punishment because 1: The screen shot was fake, 2: the screen shot didn't have enough evidence required. 3: They DID receive a punishment, which may not be noticeable to others; but internally such as a warning or Game suspension of particular members; may have taken place.

Not wishing to have a go at you, but not everyone is an ace at grammar and vocabulary. If you go over your own post you might see some errors too. He never claimed to be A+ english major. No one is perfect everyone makes mistakes from time to time.

Anyway back on topic. I've had a few run ins with certain individuals, who have completely disgusted me and offended me by being disrespectful. I too wonder if those people were punished, but we just have to have faith that the system of reports and consequences works and is effective.

One player i reported for breaking servral rules in about 30seconds no less bragged about being reported 100 times, and still he was never banned, but you never know since when he said it, it encouraged 2 other people in his party to be rude to me.

I understand where you are coming from, and maybe I view the situation a little differently because I see a little more of what goes on behind the scenes. However, I assure you that every report is read over and dealt with.

The punishment may be as simple as a warning that only the user would know they received. While I'd like for that to work with every user it often does not. Some people just don't care what others think, while it may not happen in the time frame we like those users who do repeatedly violate the Terms of Service are banned. I've personally seen a few very heavy spark cash users from my server get banned permanently...including their alternate accounts. Why? Because they didn't listen to the warnings they were given and kept pushing the limits.

I've seen users who, at first impression, I thought were complete jerks receive a warning from a GM and completely change their ways. I've also seen users who just had a bad day fly off the handle. Its not always a normal behavior for the player and second chances are given. However, repeat offenders (and Tamlinari I know exactly who you are talking about) are eventually punished for the things that they do.

Perhaps it was for something else that you were banned. Did you spam war at all? I don't favor any guilds. And Spawn killing as I've been telling people, is harassment. I don't favor people that pays. Justice sees not the color of your bills.

and yep, its nice how the rules change to help some people at just the right time. You'd think they would just run an IP scan on the characters owning that guild, and see if theres a match. Oh well, another reminder why I don't really play this game much atm.
Oh, not to take a shot at anyone (so no offense intended), but I honestly can't believe that justice is blind in human society. Sure in theory, justice is blind and sees no colors, but add human greed, human want and needs, and suddenly "justice" is just another tool to get to the goal a person wants. I've watched over and over as all things in life follow this, not just a game. Criminals getting off of crimes because they know someone, or have money and can pay someone higher up to cut their sentence. Like I said earlier, knew a guy who hacked people on another game, gets banned, then threatens lawsuit and since he's making 120k a year and pays a lot into the game they give his account back in 2 days and apologise for the inconvenience. The minute you put someone with an agenda into the equation, lady justice loses those blindfolds. Again, sad but true, but it is the world we live in.

Yea same with fiesta rembmer when brenda got hacked? yea well not even 30 day's later they were back playing, seemed like nothing happened. Outspark didnt do nothing to them but ban them for a little under 30 days. Yea did they pay Outsparks? Do they spend "ALOT" of money into Outsparks?? Will they even hack again and do the same thing, and this time will the person even know? Thats why usually when people get hacked and the game leaders GM's w.e bans them they should be ban for good no an's if's or but's about it. Am i right???:confused:

A few problems with your statement.
First off, from my understanding there was 1 war and they were banned for that one war (as they said was explained to them by the GM)
Second, 90% of your wars are revenge wars (don't lie they are) everyone wars because someone got pked in abyss, or got their spot taken, or had a momma joke thrown at them (not kidding I have seen that reason before).
Oh and 3rd, how come these 5 get banned for a war or two, whereas certain people can war nearly 24/7 and get no ban. Now let's do math shall we. a person warring a guild that long is doing at the minimum 8 wars a day with 8 guilds, and thats if you time every 3 hours perfectly, which takes extreme effort, chances are it would take 10-12. So again, people doing this can get away with it, especially when they are no show wars where its a waste of time, but 5 people war a guild, and actually fight, and get banned for it? Sounds a little strange to me. Though considering the guild they warred it doesn't surprise me, I've had my own problems with them awhile back (though soloing them back then was funny).
So in short there is a double standard, and there is some variable that decides who is on either side.
One other thing, again we have another person who has a whopping total of 3 posts, surely its not another alt account. People these days...sigh.

A few problems with your statement.
First off, from my understanding there was 1 war and they were banned for that one war (as they said was explained to them by the GM)
Second, 90% of your wars are revenge wars (don't lie they are) everyone wars because someone got pked in abyss, or got their spot taken, or had a momma joke thrown at them (not kidding I have seen that reason before).
Oh and 3rd, how come these 5 get banned for a war or two, whereas certain people can war nearly 24/7 and get no ban. Now let's do math shall we. a person warring a guild that long is doing at the minimum 8 wars a day with 8 guilds, and thats if you time every 3 hours perfectly, which takes extreme effort, chances are it would take 10-12. So again, people doing this can get away with it, especially when they are no show wars where its a waste of time, but 5 people war a guild, and actually fight, and get banned for it? Sounds a little strange to me. Though considering the guild they warred it doesn't surprise me, I've had my own problems with them awhile back (though soloing them back then was funny).
So in short there is a double standard, and there is some variable that decides who is on either side.
One other thing, again we have another person who has a whopping total of 3 posts, surely its not another alt account. People these days...sigh.

The problem mentioned here is not based off of being warred. It is being based off of being chain warred by guilds. To say a guild should have to go be exhibition just because they desire not be be warred by someone who logs on just to war them then logs off after the war has started to "disrupt" their game play is sad. Why should guilds have to go exhibition just becuase someone is too noob find another means of getting their kicks by killing in pvp or finding something constructive to do with their time. I know my guild doesn't mind guild wars even if we lose. You can't win them all.

Also the ToS jargon is set so lawyers can manipulate it to avoid losing lawsuits. They do enough to protect themselves but nothing to enforce it. I have yet to have any problems with the OS staff and any issues I personally have had have been resolved in a timely manner. That doesn't mean they are perfect just my experience has lead to believe they do try their best to do their jobs. (minus fixing lag issues) since when does 4gb of ram a 3.2ghz proccessor speed and a hardwired T1 connection warrant 40second map loads?

Perhaps instead of flaming for people voicing their concerns and opinions you should be more considerate to those who come here to release their frustrations in a game so that others can see it, and hopefully OS does too and decides to do something about it.

This way you can at least feel somewhat better that you did what YOU could do on your side! That goes for all issues. Any kind of harassment sucks and you should also get ss's of this and THEN block them. Send them in and put it into OS's hands from there. Its all you can do. Posting here only helps to maybe make other players aware that they CAN submit a ticket against harassment and other issues that are going on. Let the GM's know in the proper channels and let them try and do their jobs. I am not saying they will do anything and i am not saying there is or is not a double standard, one can only hope that things are doen properly.
