View Full Version : Losing levels when dying bug?

Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but it seems when you die you lose a certain amount of experience, which is fine. However, if you are ow in XP as it is and die, you start to lose actual levels. This has been confirmed by several players, one who has had to reach lvl 18 3 times at least.
I have played games before where xp and gold loss upon death is common, but have never actually lost levels before. Can a GM confirm this is a bug or as the game is supposed to be?

I don't think thats supposed to be how it works, I know you are supposed to lose xp, but not levels

Well right now, they intended the level loss. Remeber its still a beta so it can change.

Well actualy in many games losing levels is a common thing. But here its just a bit. In other games You can even loose few levels when dieing at a high level (that sux :P) So well I hope this wil lremain as it is as long it's in limited range^^ .
But as a side fact I wanna ask something.
When You die and loose a level as I did from 36 to 35. I still could use the level 36 spells on level 35. Think it's a bug. Couse I agree I should keep the spels but I shouldn't be able to use them before I regain the lost level needed for those spels.

I died 5 times since i just lvled up and I didn't lose lvls O_o.
Sure my exp count is 0, but I didnt delvl.

If this is accurate then there IS a bug - either we're supposed to lose levels or we're not.... can a GM pop on here and confirm?

it says in the game lose to much xp over lev 16 you will lose lvls

though, for those that has lost levels since dying, if you level up back to your original level, do you still get the status points?
