This is the guide for Dance Groove (obviously), pointing out tips and tricks. Making you a better player/dancer by knowing what your doing, and making sure you're on top and your having fun, at the sametime. That's the goal of the game, getting perfects and having fun. No need to get serious, even if you mess up, just try to get to the top, instead of going to the bottom. Well let's get this started.

Make sure that the everything is right exception for the Mode (Windowed or Full Screen - (Warning: The bad thing about Full Screen, is that if you try to exit and your in a game, it's going to be pretty hard to exit, even if you try anything you must, but it's really up to you, just close everything before you go to Fullscreen.) the resolution, the sounds, graphics and the other settings, if you don't set these settings correctly, it may cause your game to be lagged, because of the settings you put in, might be too low or too high, and you WILL do poorly, so it's recommended that you make sure that everything is correct.
Ib.Before Playing - Creating a Character (Starting)
http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss111/TheDGOGuide/thCharacter.jpg
As you know, in every game, you MUST create a character. As the game gets progressed, you get more things are available, after you create the character, you could go shopping, but that will be later in the guide. Now, you're in the "Create A Character" Menu, you must First choose a Name for your character, then choose either Male or Female. Second, they are different "age bodies", you either can be a 12 year old, or even a 18 year old, it's up to you, then you get to choose your clothing style. You get to make your character goofy, professional, geeky, or whatever you like, it's your character, so go for it. Now, you're done creating the character, you're in the "difficulty channels (Introduction - Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced...more channels will be available as the game gets progressed)", here are the modes for the channels.
1. Introduction
4keysMode - 4keys is basically the arrows keys, "Left", "Up", "Down", or "Right". This is the Normal mode. (Tip: If you press at the right precise, when it's in the middle, you get an extra point) The Max Stepup(Strokes) is 9.
6keysMode - 6keys are the "numberpad". In Other words, you have to use the vertical numbers (they are located right side of your arrow keys), you could use the arrow keys but it's recommended and MUCH easier to use the "numberpad". If your using the laptop, or can't use the vertical numberpad, there's an alternative, the horizontal numberpad (7 = is Left Diagonal. 8 = Up, 9 = Left Diagonal. 4 = Left. 5 = Down, and 6 = Right.)
Team Mode - Basically the samething Modes, but you're in a team. A team of 2, or 3, or 2v2v2. The Colors are "Green", "Red", and "Blue"
Stepup Mode - Different StepUps(Strokes), you use the arrows keys, but there is a twist to it, you must press space bar in the end, or the perfect stroke won't count (Note: the More Perfects you get, the more the chance you get to stay or go to first, so it's important to press it at the right time. (Tip: Look clearly at the middle, then press when its EXACTLY in the middle)
Team/Battle Mode - You use the arrows keys, if you get "Perfect" or "Great", you get an Item, that is either helpful or hurtful. To randomly to put on a player, you press Ctrl, or if you want to hit the specific target, You press Insert for F1, F2, F3, and Delete for F4, F5, and F6 (It's friendly fire, so it won't hurt your teammates, only help them, Of course)
2. Beginner
4keysMode - Same as the Introduction, but a little more keys.
x2 4keysMode - Same as 4keysMode, but fast mode, everything is a little bit more faster, even your dance is faster too. The Max StepUp(Strokes) is 13.
StepUp Mode - Same as Introduction, but a little more keys.
Team/Battle Mode - Same Introduction, but a little more keys.
3.Intermediate
4keysMode - Same as Introduction, but if you choose a slow song (BPM - Later in the Guide), you get doubles (Doubles - Hitting more then 1 arrow keys "Up AND Down" or "Right AND Left", etc. or a fast song, you get no doubles, but don't think it's easier.) (Tip: Don't look like it's double, it's just 2 keys, that you have to press at the sametime) More Keys, and More Strokes. The Max Stepup(Strokes) is 17.
x2 4keysMode - Same as Introduction, and 4keysMode Intermediate, but a little bit faster then Beginner.
4.Advanced
Same as Introduction, but more advanced, obviously. Every channel or difficulty is about the same, but it's get more challenging, and the strokes gets more higher and difficult to make perfects. The Max Stepup(Strokes) is 22.
StepUp Mode - Same as Introduction, but a little more keys then Beginner. Same goes for Intermediate 4keys Mode. The Strokes for Stepup Modes go a little higher as the difficulty are higher.
Team/Battle Mode - Same as Introduction, but a little more keys then Beginner.

After you done creating a character, now your in the "Play or Shop" Menu. You have an Option to shop with others, or shop alone. Either way, you get the same lists. Top, Shirt, Bottom, Shoes, Accessories, and Sets. There are 3 Payment Methods, N - Dance Groove Currency (you get them after the game finishes, depending what place you are in, 1st through 6th) G - Groove, and S - Sparkcash.

As you enter the room, you see a area, where you can walk, or do emotions or giving you a list when you right click on a player. You could even change your outfit, or age while in the room, but you can't shop in the same room, so if you go to shoppings, you leave the room.

When in the room, every player MUST click ready or the game won't start. You can either play by yourself, or with others, all up to you. When the Game starts, you cannot quit, there's no button for it, you must stick through until it finishes. Pay attention, it may or may not begin as it starts, on the first rounds, you get more then one keys, but as you get through the stepup(strokes), it increases, or decreases depending how you did. As you get through the song, there's a "Show Time", some like it call it, break time, but as you can see, the player who has the most points, there will be a spotlight on them.
