Hello, I'm new to the game and am still trying to figure out how things work. After battling a little while I've got a collection of items (I'm still not sure what to do with yet) and was wondering if I could sell them on the game. Is there a shop where you sell items, because I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Please help XD

ok, let me help you :)
first to sell things go to any (well, most) npc's in town, talk to them and press purchase. to sell things right click on the items.
after you reach a few levels and have enough money to buy skills from Ruby in Roumen, i suggest you pick 2 alchemy skills (production skills) that the drops (mat's or materials) are used for.
you can then have a choice to creat potions (hp, sp, cure, bless, antidote ect), scrolls (buffs), stones (enchanting), or compositon/decomp (these allow you to use alchemy stones to create higher level items from lower, or break down higher into lower, hence the names...)
also if you bress the h key you can chose to open up a store where you can vend your items and drops.
i hope that helped, if you have any questions just ask :)

^^
Follow my guidelines and you can set up your shop in no time!
Press "H" > Press "Vendor" > Click sell, if you're planning to sell, or buy, if you're planning to buy > Add in items that you want to sell. Copper is the lowest form of money, so you'll probably learn the economics of the market soon enough. > Adjust prices to what you see around you (Click other shops and see their prices. Either match/lower/higher your prices based on that, or ask for in game help!).
Hope I helped!

Thank you, it did help :D
I looked at the selection of alchemy skills. I bought a couple and it said I couldn't use them (I think it was an sp creation one and one other that didn't require skill points *I didn't think I had those yet*). I was wondering if I need to buy certain ones first.

Well, this game is lacking greatly in the skill department. The description for the skills you can buy is lacking, you can only select two 'production' skills (the ones that let you make things like potions or elrue) and there are even recipes (these are for some reason available at the skill master, and are what you need to make things like potions or elrue) that are the exact same name yet completely different. That said stick with it. Right click those skills to check out what they say. If you bought the wrong thing because its too high of a level for you hold on to it, if its a recipe and you dont have that production skill try and sell to someone else. Try not to get frustrated...the game is in open beta still and things are still being worked out, slowly but it will hopefully happen sooner or later....and once you figure it all out it will be simple. And don't worry if you did buy something you can't use and wasted money, it will be easy to make back later if you work at it and its still a fun game. Personally I enjoy figuring it all out. The fact that your still approaching it with a smile and a good attitude shows me that your likely to do well here:D
P.S. Check for the skill level you need when you right click those recipes...they go from 0-1000 for tier 1 then back to 0-1000 in tier 2. The recipes will tell you what they require and whether it is tier 1 or 2....hope that helps a bit:p

you have to go to your skill section (press K) then click on the right button at the top, thats your alchemy skills. then at the bottom there's a production skill button. click it. then *equip* the skills you bought (pots or whatever) into the empty boxes at the top. then you should be able to use the scrolls to learn the skills. and once you learn them you cant change them. :)
if there's anything else dont be afraid to ask
