KQ Quests - Possible to finish?

Im talkin' about the king slime's kingdom quests. the 3 parts.
Now, it sounds easy, but this specific KQ isnt available after passing lvl 16.
And honestly, i dont think that 90% of the people finished all the 3 parts.
The reason is the Turbo lvling, 2 lvls per quest, which gives you maybe 1 chance to do each one of those quests.
Is it possible to finish them all? how?
*And no, party wont help, i've tried it. you still lvl up too fast. it just raise your chances to get more "kill" for the quest.

Slime KQ is hard to finish; of the 4 characters I've had do it (and do to restarts it was technically 6 times I have sent characters from 0-20); only 2 completed all the quests for it.

First thing to do: start the KQ at lower levels: this gives you more chances to do the KQs. If you start around level 7 and finish your quests in the first few KQs immediately; it gives you a good 8 or so tries at getting King/Queen Slime.

Second, party up; it does help. Whoever gets the last hit on them gets the kill; and the party shares it provided they are close by (which gets annoying in Robo KQ if you are the runner and they kill Robo while you are on the far side of the square...but I digress). Party at least 1 archer and mage; and if possible a fighter -they higher the level, the better. Wait for King Slime to be near dead, then spam skills on him to try to get the last hit; it's really the only way. Do the same with Queen Slime as well.

Third: don't panic if you don't finish it; it's not the end of the world, there's no special item given (at least there wasn't when I did it) and the next few levels are easy...besides, Mara KQ starts up right after it in terms of level.


If you are dead-set on finishing it; you can always suicide to lose any gained exp from killing mobs or winning the KQ and try again and again until you finish it...but that doesn't make a lot of sense. Just level past it and drop the quest since you can't finish it anymore.

Ive finished it on all my chars. I simply didnt level between start and finish. and if you lvl before the last part is done, some people go and die by monsters, to lose enough exp to continue. Although ive never had to do it.

i can understand where you are coming from..

..but i find lvl 1-20 quests and slime kq just plain too annoying to bother with now. and i like being a noobie for a bit lol

i dont do slime kq anymore, nor any quests until lvl 20.

i much rather prefer all the lq mats i obtain than going from 1-20 in a half a day or less.

How did you reset your characters from 20 to 0 i didnt understand..
Can i decrease my lvl by suicide? or only zero the EXP in the current lvl?
If im lvl 12 right now and i done only the first part (i was started from low lvls, joined good and big parties. unsuccessfully.)
Do I have any chances to finish it at all?
In case not, i'll just know that i did my best....

- you cannot reset a characer, only delete it
- you can only brign your exp down to 0, you cannot decrease your lvl
- yes you have a chance of completing them still, if you really want to increase your chances, join the kq as many times as you can when its recruiting..and do less quests in downtime (aka dont gain too much exp during dowtime, chat with friends, shop around, etc)
- if you dont get the king or queen kill, make it a fun little story.."king slime survived this round, but ill get you with my new lvl 1 fighter i just made muahahaha"

- If i finished a half of the quests and i want to get out cuz soon i lvl up. can i do it?
- If i'll suicide alot, will it calculated as a "black point" to me in the future? in the rank? what ever....?

Just for your info, to the OP, all King quests have multiple parts and usually the last part is killing the boss at the end, so start at least 4 or 5 levels before the level cap.

Also you can leave a KQ, or just die out of it whichever your prefer, and killing yourself on purpose dosen't hurt your character, I kill mine all the time to lose exp, because I'm not ready to level.

Try start doing the 1st quest in level 5 than leave both level 15 and 16 only for king and queen you will get it done.

Since its such a low level and its so easy to level... I wouldn't let it get to me... Though I don't plan on playign him serious I completely skipped both Mara and Gold Hill on my fighter.
