Advice Please?

Well, I've got a 23 Archer so far, and I thought I had picked a nice class...
I invited my friends to play, and some have nearly caught up with me.
Some are nearly the same lvl, and are WAY better than I am...

None of my friends play Archers, they all play other classes...
The fighters can tank, and take down mobs easilly.
The mages can kill before anything touches them.
The clerics are always useful, and die rarely.

Me?
As an Archer, I do very little damage, and I never survive against anything...

Is it to early to decide that I suck?
Do Archers get ANYTHING good that would make me want to keep playing it?

mobs drop alot of green archer stuff.
once u are a higher lvl archer people need u for party becuz mages can die easily but archers dunt. they can do good dmg but not as good as mage. and u can poison mobs which is very good ur actual dmg + ur poison dmgs = better dmg than mage ^^
u just need a good build to pwn anything

Uhh...Actually, poison+bleed+an arrow(per turn)=Less damage than a mage, but more damage than other classes, except for if they were pure str, then I'm not sure what would happen. Anyway, don't let it get to you. I've just hit lvl 30 and everything just got a lot quicker, and easier. It's like breaking the shackles. Sort of... So, just keep at it!
